Pretty Cool lesson here, Covers the topic quite well. Ive just made a bunch of detailed courses for beginners and advanced guitarists that you might be interested in. Check it out! would love to know what you and anyone watching this video thinks. Its totally free, and i mean TOTALLY
im just having trouble playin the chords...like ill put my fingers in the right spots n everything...then when i go to play it...it comes out like weird...idk how to describe it really...ive tryed not pressnig down the strings as hard...but it hasnt worked...then i tried pressing down the strings more and that didnt work...i just need a little help learning how to play...
it may be because your fingers are slightly touching the string above or below the one your supposed to be playing..
try putting each finger right on the tip, have your thumb flat on the back of the neck and curl your fingers round so that they're not touching any strings that they're not supposed to be.
u know wats funny?? the title says "beginner acoustic guitar lesson" but at the start, it says "warning if you are not a beginer go watch a differnt vid"
Wow, i really respect the fact that you have only been learning for a year and are already taking these step and measures to help others achieve what you have! Brilliant video
All I can say is wow and thank you. I have been playing the guitar for 3 weeks. This is my first intrument so notes and chords are a challenge. AND Thanks to you... I almost have this chord progression down! This is too much fun.
I just got an acoustic for christmas Im a recording artist and want to play and write so im a BEGINNER but this is so coll to share an easy way to learn cuz im struggling
he says he only practises for about 20 minutes a day and hes been playing for a year Joe Satriani one of the greatest guitars ever use to practise for more than 10 hours a day now he doesn't have to because hes so good.
This dude is not reaaly that good. I've been playing for just over nine months and I learnt those cords on my first day and they were easy as
No one said that he is. Dunno about you, but I don't have time to practise 10 hours a day, and I am not planning to become the greatest guitarist ever... And no one asks you to brag...
These guys are awesome, freely teaching lessons online to spread the love of music. I'll check out their website to learn more. Thanks for the upload!
Hey cool. I have been thinking about taking guitar lessons... these little vids are just right to get a whiff of what is done.. Helps very much in my decision making. I want to learn the pedal steel, but I think the guitar is a good start. I've been told pedal steel is about the hardest instrument to learn... just my luck!
Great vids. I'm glad Tim talks.. I can't learn telekinesis...
What if he talks a lot? The only reason he talks a lot is to teach us! Don't be impatient viewers. If you think he talks a lot then deal with it iight? Awesome vids. These do really help!
I'm not a newb so I already know and apply this, but you are a very good teacher. Especially if you've only been playing for a little over a year. I would have loved to have had this when I started 13 years ago. I am self taught so you could imagine how frustrating my first few years were. Keep up the good work.
Hey! Thanks a million for the strumming techniques and the cord progression. I've tweaked around with my guitar for years, never realizing this should be part of any guitarists repertoire.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Why do you have to talk so much?!!?! Shut the fuck up and play some music and put your crappy guitar skills to practice. If you talk this much when you're playing it is no wonder you're still a beginner after 1 year, which is pathetic. Most people lay down a Green Day track in two weeks. God and you just don't stop talking, on and on and on and on....
you should change the beat at the end of the progression. later in the lesson to inspire people. It would show them variations of the a simple stum chanage in the progression. I would be more excited to learn it. Have fun with it alittle.
are you two trying to teach good riddance again, but not naming the song because your vids will be deleted ? ;p this is part before the chorus, the other vid of tim is the verse.
