Dave Hlubek once said in an interview that he wouldn't want to play in Mplly Hatchet without Danny Joe Brown..I guess he didn't mean it...He also said their reception by the fans without Danny was not good....Why does everyone have to fight and say stupid shit in their comments..Molly Hatchet was a good band with Danny and he was the draw ..I never cared much for their guitarists ..They are good i guess but My heros were Jimmy Page , Alex Lifeson, Eric Johnson , Malmsteen etc.....

Jimmy Farrar was a somewhat UNWELCOMED replacement for Danny Joe Brown. The current vocalist for Hatchet (Phil McCormac)Spelling?) is a great example of how underrated Jimmy was. i agree farrar is good vocalist for hatchet,by the way dave was the one who formed molly hatchet he recrited duane and danny walked up to dave one night and asked to join(dave was singing at the time)there is a dave hlubek interview on the web from a few years ago where he talks about all this,and how the phrase flirtin with desaster came about.
