Thanks for sharing this....I did about 30 rows put it down and couldn't figure where I left off. I'm using needles like your. Please let me know how you keep track.....Thanks I love the zig-zagginess of this stitch......I'm going to start again.
Hey Julie! Thanks so much for the vid showing this stitch. I thought I understood the technique and, now, thanks to you, I do. Your very clear and simple example has cleared up any problems with the written pattern.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! A friend of mine fell in love with this scarf and I have been trying to teach myself to knit on it, feeling quite hopeless and not really desiring to spend the time learning on a different project. You have made this very precise and clear and I am confidant it'll get done now! You're using much smaller needles than what I thought I was supposed to use according to the pattern, and I have had difficulty weilding the 10mm monsters I bought. should I go smaller??
My first scarf went along slowly but ended up beautiful - wasn't sure I wanted to tackle another right away, but now I'm making another for my sister in her favorite colors using your wonderful video translation!! Thank you so much!!
Thanks for your excellent video - I was a bit frustrated but just kept going cuz I like this pattern - but you made it so clear and easy to follow !! My scarf is nearly finished - now I look forward to making many more, thanks to you!!
Hillary Clinton is the eldest of three and has two YOUNGER brothers. I think this is the reason why she is so powerful. We need more Hillarys and (Meryl Streeps, who is of the same birth order) don't you think? So if your first child happens to be a girl, and your second child a boy, then have a third child. Hopefully he is a boy.
Thank you so much for posting this video. I can really see how to do the scarf now -- good video quality, in focus, close up, with contrasting needles and clear verbal directions.
thank you so much for this video!! I cast on three times last night, i just wasn't getting this. i thought something must be wrong with me. now i can get on with it!
I have been trying to figure this pattern out for a while now with absolutely NO luck. I SERIOUSLY would've never been able to do it without the help of your video. I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH!!! XOXO
Thank you so much. The written instructions for this pattern make no sense to me at all, and offer no visual aids. There was no way that I would have been able to knit this scarf without this video.
I just finished this scarf! It would have been great to know about this video when I started. This really is a pretty stitch! Thanks so much for posting this.
thank you SO much!! I had the pattern for this scarf but no idea how to turn those written instructions into real-life nifty zigzag stitches--your video was KEY!! :)
Wow, this is great! I've been wanting to knit that scarf for a long time, and was happy to recently see the picture tutorial on the Mason-Dixon Knitting blog, (look at their December '06 archives), and am now thrilled that there's a video tutorial as well! Kudos! I've favorited this video for future reference! :-)

Can you tell me what this technique is in reference to? Or a photo of the finished scarf? It looks like a lot of fun to do. Thank you
