he should not have said 'by' bright eyes, but rather "how to play bright eyes' version of mushaboom (feist cover)" to be really proper...and yes this is petty but it matters cuz credit is always due to each person who adds there two cents.

that way you can trace the progression of a song that hopefully will be covered a long time....eg: hallelujah by cohen covered by buckley whose version was covered by kd lang, etc...its all respect that way
