yes they do, My pops is aside from fightin fires, a ASE master certed auto mechanic. and we are always addin shit to my bros Geo prism lsi and my 00 celi Gt, I get into the engine and change shit and have added a few of the available after market bolt-ons (see above reply) and it has done a lot, i beat a tiburon and a decked out teggy, yes it was close but my effort got me the win, it is all about the drivers effort to mod and abbility to drive the car.

yea thats what those bogus magazine tests say. the gts will do a high 14 second pass stock with a good driver. the trick is landing back into lift after shifts so you have to bring it almost to rev limiter, and im not sure if they do that.

the gts has 180 hp , type r is 195 hp .celicas 150 lbs lighter . and there dead even pretty much on tourque . take what u will from that . but they are not the same . the gsr and gts are almost the same in quarter mile times and 0/60 /

that's my Celica and it's bone stock, the integra has an intake and exhaust but it has some 22lbs rims on it.. he had me by a couple of feet, but it was my 3rd race ever and this was in July/august of 2000
