For anyone saying that they don't get it, you really have to play it first. It is a lot more challenging then it looks. You have limited jumps that need to be replenished by touching a surface... trust me, it's worth the price. Fantastic game.

I was at State of Play at D.I.T. and I got to play this game. It's great fun, very difficult but im not a PC gamer so it's probably just me. Anyway, DigitalArrow have some very good things coming up in the future, so I'd keep an eye on them :)

@ModNahhhhh You have a limited amount of them in the air (I think it's one) but you can jump off walls, sometimes it hard to notice in First Person.

just played this game..and its awesome .

JUSt remember gys its not a portal ...its platforming on a whole new level.the best thing to do is play in the casual level..I struggled for 10-15 .maybe even 20 re spawns after which I finally got the first level..(in gamer difficulty)

This doesn't make sense, is it first person or are you a ball? This would be better in third person as a... person. I'd try a demo, but i'd not buy this at all without one. I thought at first this was like a mirror's edge thing, but this looks bad atm off initial judgements without playing.

From what i saw there there seems to be an infinite amount of mid-air jumps wich doesnt adds difficulty at all. I get that if u manage to do it without these u get faster and more points, but where's the fun? The thing i liked about Mirror's Edge was the trial and error You had many different ways to get to your goal and theres ALWAYS a way better solution! I don't care about high-points, I care about the challenge!!

So, DAG, any modess for players who care about the fun, not the points?

I don't see how it's like DeFRaG at all, just because you can jump and get speed? It's completely different.

Also not exactly sure how this air jumping sutff works. From what I can see it seems you can use it once and then have to touch another surface and you get it back. I don't really know how I would feel about that. Sure you can do it faster but it seems like it makes it far less interesting, especially with as far as you can go with it.

Why not? It's basically the same idea: You run along a track as fast as possible. You become faster by jumping (well it's not THAT simple in Defrag). Even the design is similar to many Defrag-Run-maps (graphics and level design). Only handling the movement is alot harder in Defrag, especially CPM.

And don't get me wrong, I loved playing Defrag a few years ago, so I like the idea of inMomentum. For me, both seem to have alot in common, and that's not neccessarily a bad thing.

To be quite honest, you should increase the sensation of speed with the game beauty this could be very good. Also, put some trick jump that would be hard to do even if this a minimalistic game, it could give challenge to the gamers.

I really thought this game could be a nice alternative to defrag, now all I see is a game slow as fuck, with triple mid air jump (put a jetpack to the guy, so you'll be sure we never ever risk to fall) and some random shooting on element to make doors disappear, even if we can somehow go around them because of the ridiculous amount of tripe-double jump you can do. Such a shame to waste a promising concept.

@warv3n I've been browsing around on their forums and gotta say that it isn't triple jumps. I think it was something like if you walljump you'll be able to make a single mid-air jump. There would also be different difficulities that changes the jump height and all that sort of stuff. It also isn't done yet, so it can and probably will change in some way.

So I wouldn't call it a waste just yet.

@Kvokki You get speed by running or jumping. However while In the Air, you fly faster and gain slightly more speed, therefore if you jump more, and combo jump even more, you can finish a level faster = better score = better ranking on worldwide scoreboards OR you will win races and dominate.
