And considering he has 5 bracelets (before bracelet inflation set in), its really really strange to call him overrated.

Then a player moves slightly and all the chip stacks fall over and people are throwing up everywhere with seasickness. You would think that they could afford a nice sturdy table for these people, but I guess it's just the American way to make everything out of doormats and processed cheese. C'est la vie!
Daniel is probably the best among these players but he played terribly his pocket Qs at 6:35. He should have raised to push out any straight draws. Then his worries grew bigger and he finally folded when he was the winner.

It's easy to say if you see the hole cards..
Possible straight allready out there, pocket 4's 5's even 45 beats him.
Remember this is a limped pot, many hands could beat him.
And also shak was in, he's an amateur they usually dont call without having a good hand.
Think that those things combined made the decision to flat call there.

I would say that Laak is much better cash than Hellmuth, at least in the earlier seasons.

In response to the Bellagio chips question. The players play at the Bellagio primarily so they have hundreds of thousands of dollars in Bellagio chips that they keep with them and in the Bellagio vault. Vegas casinos will often accept other casino's chips because they can convert it to cash as easily as a player can. So they can obtain cash from either each player or the house using Bellagio chips because they are ultimately the same as cash.
