  • @Keruaran are you serious????????

  • @MikeTruePraiser Are you? But no, in the face of continued mind numbing and wilful ignorance from alleged "Christians" I'm not going to waste any more of my time explaining why a modalist should not be a special guest speaker at any Christian conference et cetera et cetera. You have a Bible and you have Google, use them!

  • @MikeTruePraiser 2 Timothy 4:3-4

"For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and p wander off into myths."

  • @MikeTruePraiser I guess when the Word of God says beware of false prophets who secretly (they are not open about it) bring in destructive heresies, you're just kind of daydreaming huh? False prophets and false teachers don't walk up to you and announce "hey! I'm a false teacher! >:D". Your own vagueness and lack of care concerning scriptural doctrine is a serious concern. People who teach heretical doctrines even after years of correction and questions from many are NOT men of God!

  • @MikeTruePraiser You could only confuse modalism with the scriptural affirmation that that there is only one God in the persons of the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit if you didn't bother to find out what modalism was in the first place. If you can't even be bothered looking up what modalism teaches then you have no business telling me to "be mindful" in what I say in condemning modalism as a false teaching. And your "God bless you" after you've been so lazy and disrespectful is just insulting.

  • @MikeTruePraiser

"I believe that there is no holy spirit first of all"

    Uhmm... Clearly unscriptural.

"secondly Jesus was not a God"

Correction, "God" not "a God". And again, clearly unscriptural.

"But stop calling people that believe something different heretics...let God judge...You see what i am saying??????"

Yes, you as someone who is clearly promoting ideas that are in fact known as "unscriptural" or "heretical", don't like actually being called a heretic. No surprise there.

  • @MikeTruePraiser

First, don't change what I said to suit yourself. I said Jesus is God, not "a God".

Second, don't confuse the Trinity (ONE God in three persons) with tri-theism (three Gods).

Thirdly, I am not a Roman Catholic and you are not arguing with me, but with scipture itself. Observe the scripture quotes in my next post...

  • Jesus is creator: Col. 1:16-17, "For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together."

The first and the last: Rev. 22:13, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

"I AM": John 8:58, "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"

  • @MikeTruePraiser Leave you alone? You're allowed to respond to my posts and misrepresent what I say but it's not OK for me to respond? The verse you are looking for is James 2:19. You assert I believe something else that is different from what we find in scripture but I have not contradicted James 2:19 and I have provided you with scriptures supporting divinity of Christ. If you don't like this then you have a problem with scripture, not me.

  • @Keruaran. the deity of Christ as far as i know, was already been quoted at old testament. Read Isaiah 9:6. It clearly stated. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, [a] Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

So now, how can you prove to me that Jesus Christ is not "a God".

  • @jaeope I have said plainly, Jesus is eternally God. In him is life and that life is the light of men. He is the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us. I wept the day he revealed to me who He is. Put me in the long line of those who will not deny him because I will not back away from telling the truth of what he showed me. I cannot and will not deny him this glory. God became a man and walked among us. He bore the cross for us, he is the propitiation for our sins. His name is Jesus Christ.

  • @Keruaran Ok bro,. I'm glad were @ the same track. and I'm really happy for what God revealed you.. Sorry for the recent post i made. It just 'm carried away by emotion. but anyway, I will testify also that Jesus is eternally God (titus 2:13), became man (John 1:1, 14), and died for us sinners (Acts 20:28, Romans 5:8) to have a part of the "Eternal Life" promise..

    :-) Godbless you.

  • @MikeTruePraiser The Holy Spirit is God: Acts 5:3-4 - "Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit... You have not lied to men but to God." Jesus is God: John 1:1 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:14 - "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth."

  • @MikeTruePraiser If He's a modalist he's not a servant of god, he's a heretic who is denying th very nature of the god he preaches about. End of Story. If you deny the trinity, you deny the divine nature of Jesus and hence his power to save, along with the presence and power of the holy spirit to enter and change you. Its kind of a big deal.

  • @MikeTruePraiser I think you've misunderstood my Point Mike. My point was that the modalist doctrine and its denial of the trinitarian nature of God is wrong, as it downplays the nature of Jesus and the Holy spirit as God, as the bible states. If you take away the power of Jesus and the holy Spirit, it renders Jesus' actions at the cross obselete, because he would have had to have been god to die and be raised to life again. Do you see what I'm saying?
