I saw two concerts of him some years ago and I have to say I never saw anything better in my life! As soon as he was on stage the whole room rocked - everyone was dancing and it was just great!!i
I for one am glad he still did concerts in an old age. Just the privilege to see one of his concerts. True his fingers are tired & he has slowed down, but he is still a legend & his music will live on long after his concerts have gone away. Just to meet the man with out him singing one song would be a blessing to many people.
He doesn't have it anymore. One of greatest gifts a performer/star has to offer the public is to know when to throw in the towel and retire. That in its self is an art that far to many pasty has beens are oblivious to. Blinded by avarice and greed, one-time heros are reduced to selfish egotistical bitches.
there's some people with some mental disease that doesn't see the miracle that is a legend playing, that people doesn't understand that the music goes beyond the tune or the speed, is the spirit and the fire that lives in him even when he's 84 year old. Chuck is the King and I want to see who of you guys can do what he have done
I am sure that i love Chuck Berry and Rock and Roll music as much as you do.
But it is sad that the old man still plays concerts even though his fingers have become so slow and so all his songs lose their power and drive and rockandroll...,,,,he has just become a circus act...
@mrsoccerboy91 I'd like to see u rock out a guitar when ur in ur 80's! The man is 84 today and is still rockin', i think its a beatiful way to live ur life to the fullest.

I wish there was an official soundtrack that I could find on YouTube. The closest one is when they're dancing on die hard.

@JohnNavaja Say what you will, it's still sad to see such a legend unable to play his own songs.

Its time to retire chuck.
Cause when it comes to playing your guitar you really reached your lowest point.
