Bill Thomas may be controversial, but some of the points that he made were true to life, like the Dan Rather comment. I agree with Roger Chesley about the white sorority feeling comfortable enough to enter the step contest, however, I think the big deal about that is that when Black people see White people come into what we feel is "our thing" or "our world", they get 20 extra points just for having gumption. That is the part that is not fairly scored and gives them an advantage.

I agree with the panel, especially Mr. Thomas ,most people are caught up with their own opinion rather than learn what really is. If you have not lived in the lower class you cannot speak for the lower class. Anyone who can open their mind cam really see what Is going on today in our society, it has been going on for centuries

The entire program has racial views. Almost every show is about black oppression and how blacks can be successful in a white world. And this is a govt run operation!

They need to lighten up and face it, abuse does happen in ALL communities, and this movie was merely recognizing it. If it is understanding of their heritage they want, they should show the highlights and the dark spots of everything, not just show only the best of the best.
