@napXVI In baritone mode you can use the strings as following: low B: from 0,059 to 0.070 (maybe you'll have to redrill the bridge), E: 0.053, A: 0,042, D: 0.032, F#: 0,024, high B: 0.016 or you can buy a D'Addario EXP 23 strings set!
so basically a baritone guitar is just an acoustic guitar with heavy guage strings, is that right?? I have a takamine acoustic and I would love to play with a baritone sound.
No that's wrong, I did that when I was waiting to get my true baritone guitar. It work's but the tuning is not really correct, you need a longer scale (about 29 inches) to get the best of a baritone tuning. I made another version of this tune on my other account "baritonemanfr" and I used a Tacoma BM6C (a true baritone guitar) bye
Wow. That was a moving rendition of a great song. And, I'm beginning to hear the 'space' between your phrases, tells me you're well on your way to Metheny-land.
Hello, Thank you for your comment. I'll try do to another version of this tune on a baritone nashville guitar on my other account which is "baritonemanfr"...soon.
last question to you , please tell me how to put on the baritone strings if i wanna use the nashville tuning ?
