Its not weird, and I don't know any fan that wouldn't notice it. Shows do it all the time, as an example if you watch TVD it'll have shots that are perfectly similar to others, example (S01E14, Elena hugs Damon with Stefan in background looks just like, S01E21 Stefan hugs Elena with Damon in the background) its a compare/contrast scenery method.
