Love the adding of the yellow stickers for lighting effects on the tower/gun, brilliant. I've got the base Trypticon figure but am missing many of the accessories. I'll resticker him with Reprolabels and I may borrow your light idea. :)

I had this whenI was 5 and I had know idea what the hell it even was till today, thnx for this vid. Im missing all the radar dishes, the large purple blocks and the tower. im missing everything except the main body that moves.

When i transormed it, I got the idea it was some sort of base, but later on i took its base form and imagined into a fed up flying thing. overall Ilove it and plan on not selling it.

i think they should remake him. probably same model just maybe faster.

When I was in first grade, one of my friends brought this in for show and tell. It was the coolest toy that I had ever seen., far and away. Thank you for posting these collector vids. It means a lot to a G1 transformer nut like myself.

Christ Graham, I tried SIX times to do a Metroplex review with all transformations and showing everything to do with him in 11 mins and could not do it, yet you manage this guy in less than 10! I must ramble too much, but you've just made me determined to try again. I HATE doing two-parters. Wish I was a partner just so I could have 12 mins, that would be plenty for me. Great review, and I will try again with old 'Plexy' soon!

Wow. Doesn't even have a robot mode and is still all kinds of awesome (well actually that may be the reason since you don't have to worry about articulation). That Gojira walk is about the coolest thing on any Transformer ever.

in city mode, "one" of the knee joins bend, so you can put the "legs" out straight to the sides if you want. i had this as a child, and stilil have it. i transformed it the other day with my son. pretty cool!

Hey Collector75, with the two Connectors the left and right. Do you need them both or is one ok?

if its the 2 conectors that help conect motormaster and onslaught to him in city mode that your talking about then you only really need them for that as the out stretched leg pieces will quite happily lay flat on the ground and still looks great. hope that helped

Amen, I only bought animated ss and was disgusted with the transformation. I was interested in Animated wreck-gar but its the same transformation. I stick to g1 now but am interested in g2 megatron and might start going after pretenders

well heres what I got, reissue G1 megatron, galvatron ( takara reissue ) masterpiece megatron. 25th anniversary prime. hasbro reissue rodimus...i really keep to g1 leaders... maybe if they made a g1 arcee id pick it up...maybe a new deluxe from universe line...The movie line is disgusting

what did you hate most about the films. For me was the tongue and cheek humor, and the busy designs of the robots. Watching Transformers since 1984 and joing the cult who enjoyed the 85 film, I really wanted to throw a brick ithrough Bey's window. Transformers g1 were always dark and serious. How could he screw it up. Oh well he made millions off of it.

@DarthTigreros62 I did not hate the films at all, it was just not something worth buying, I think the films did re awaken my interest for Transformers to some degree, and I started collecting again after 23 years when I got my last one, it was G1 Springer, in fact I only had a hand full of G1's, not very many, but I love the cartoon, I still watched it every now and then.

I remember that toy, the model was based off of a Japanese design from another company. It was a helicopter right? Well, I hate the film personally. But Im just a disgruntled transformer fan. But Ive always had a thing for toy robots since the beginning.

that was a good review,i myself own him and metroplex it just pissed me off that they are not the same size as far as height.come on now they suppose to battle each other on the cartoon series it only make sense for the toys to level up.that goes the same for menasor and superion g1. i wish the g1 gesalts was about the size of predaking all connected together and predaking about two inches taller so he can stay the biggest gesalt ever made.

But I got mine broken(the green piece that moves its hands. Hoping to fix it with superglue). I've been waiting for someone to make a full detail review of this guy. You really made my day, Graham.
