It is a very early BN1, I think the 4th or 5th month of production. The Logo on the back is " Austin of England" the car had been in the same family ,they bought it when it was one year old. The car has aluminum Alfin brakes. I asked the grandson, who was around 45 years old, about the louvers he said they had been there as long as he could remember. I need to do the heritage certficate to learn more about this particular car. It has never been messed with.
Never messed with?? Those bonnet louvers were only available on the LM and S models, and I've NEVER seen wing louvers on a Hundred (altho they make perfect sense and should take big steps to releasing underhood air pressure and the incredible cockpit heat). Is it a BN-2?
