    Is it a spesific type of cues? Sorry to ask stupid question, I am still learning!

  • @ShadowDatsas

    "English" = "side spin"

    For more info, illustrations, and examples, see the "English" section of the FAQ page on my website.

  • Dave, I know most players say to use outside English when trying to run an object ball up the rail into a corner pocket. I found that for many of those cut shots especially the sharper ones, using inside English to make the ball squirt has helped. What are your thoughts on this, should I i just stay true to using outside English?

  • Running (inside) English is usually recommended for rail cut shots. For a lot more info and videos on this topic, see "rail cut shots" in the FAQ section of my website at billiards DOT colostate DOT edu

  • This is something I have been trying to explain to other players for years. Now I have somewhere that I can direct them for a good explanation. Thank you.

  • You're welcome. Please help spread the word about my vids.

    Dr. Dave
