That has got to be the quietest supercharger on the market because I didn't hear shit at idle(centrifical) or at WOT (positive displacement). Sounds fishy to me.
I own a 00GT and its a 4.6L SOHC bud. The 4.6L puts down about 230 at the wheels with a blower though it could be hitting mid 300s. That should be plenty to pull on a WS6. Add a cam though and the LS1 is just going to walk on by. The LS1 is FAR more responsive to modification as with almost all pushrod motors compared to modular OHC engines.
technically all a mustang owner (99-04) has to do to keep up with a ws6 is swap for stage 2 heads and cams and hes putting over 320 to the wheels. its just the 4.7 can squeeze more hp from itself than the LS1
The WS6 has close to 350 C.I. and is the high performance version of the trans-am. About 325 horse power against the mustang's 260 on engine and about 400 to the Fly with S/C...
I never said it wasn't. I'm just stating the difference between the regular Trans-Am and the WS6. The GT Mustang in that picture had a 263-4 horsepower engine + the supercharger = a close win for the Stang.
Keep in mind dumbass, that the Mustang had been supercharged. The Trans-Am was stock. That Mustang barely beat him. That's how muc more power the LS1 has.
all ls1 and lt1 motors are good for top speed a musang will kill any ls1 lt1 from a dig
