I wonder, how can you do this, do you have to set it to take a picture every 5 second to catch a cloud growing? because today I made a cloud time lapse by every 2 second (and let me tell you, 30 minute is TOO long, I have to sit there and click the snap button, because my camera don't have a automatic time lapse so I have to do it manually)

just use a camcorder and record it on a windy day for about 15 minutes to half an hour

Use a webcam and get some timelapse software - best interval times are 5 seconds and 10 seconds. I used to rent a top floor apartment - watching a whole days worth of clouds was beautiful to see - the sun flying across the sky, clouds bubbling and disappearing, shadows of chimney pots and aerials swinging round. Maybe the occasional rainbow or cold front rolling in.
