It seems that in the carbon hydrogen reaction, the pressure is not constant, indeed, it should have decreased. (2 moles of hydrogen consumed, only 1 mole of methane produced.)

Chemistry was bothering me for the longest time. There was just something about how it was being taught that felt very unintuitive. I knew there should be a better way to explain all these quantities (deltaH, Q, deltaU, W, P, V) without making a person insane.
