gosh...brett should've won. i guess i'm happy natalie got it over mick (what exactly did he do in this game except follow russell's every word? natalie at least made some strategic moves of her own but mick? nothing). and russell for sure deserved it for the way he played the game, but in my opinion he just didn't need the money b/c he was already a multi-millionaire. This fact is probably what drew a lot of votes away from him.

well, her overall strategy was to stick with russell, let him do all the nasty work (a lot of which she helped to coordinate) while she sits back and looks sweet-which is a strategic move. and look what her plan got her? a million bucks.

and may I add that voting erik off was essentially the key move in the game that allowed the foa foa four to survive through the merge. If it weren't for that move, they would've all been shot off easily, one by one.

The Jury was just bitter that they got beat by russell. Russell controlled everything in this game. If Russell wanted Natalie could have been voted off and jaison could replace her easily. It was Russell's game but the jury "had feelings"

well that essentially is part of the game. russell played a hell of a game, I'm not denying that. however, he didn't put enough emphasis on one crucial part of the game: the jury, while natalie did a little more so, and got herself the win.

@triple7cris by asking mick, he illuminated to the jury that mick did nothing really in the game. he just followed russell. he didn't even play a social game and get to know people. natalie did. this told the jury that natalie was more deserving than mick to get their votes. so he knew that this would sway the jury to vote for natalie rather than mick if they weren't going to give their votes to russell. and it worked. nice move brett.

cheesegoat: i saw the same thing you saw when i watched that, brett was definitely trying to use that moment to sway jury voters to natalies side. however, i don't think he had much of an impact at all, all the people that voted for natalie (everyone except john and shambo), were already going to vote for natalie because they hated russell's game so much.

Seriously, everyone except John and Shambo need to take a few notes from the Survivor China jury. Yeah Russell did lie to people, and play a unethical game, but Todd had similar traits; though definitely not as "serious" as Russell's. But unlike, these pansies, they actually respected (Todd's) strategy, and gameplay.

This jury was pretty light on him, to be fair. Next season, I doubt that the next jury will be as light as these guys, should he get that far. They're gonna roast him alive and feed him to the wolves.

Also, Russell can't even hold a candle to Todd. When he was mean, he left it for the camera, just like Rich. But when Russell was mean, he let everyone know. Todd played in such a way that he had in mind how others will vote, Russell didn't.

funny, I interpreted it that Brett was trying to illuminate Mick's personality and "see to what level he (Mick) invested in himself (Brett) as a human being. Seriously, these other people are reading too much into that.... I just don't get how this was showcasing Natalie in any way. ????

well, in an interview brett said he was deciding between mick and natalie for his vote, and he asked mick this question to see if the two had connected well and if ick really got to know brett through their conversations (something like this i don't quite remember...). If he was satisfied with mick's answer, brett would had given him the vote, but obviously he wasn't satisfied so natalie got his vote.
