actually if you have load the game just before selcting the ending, a glitch will occur: no dark steps triggered by analog stick, but you can still trigger them with the d-pad, if you make an extreme evasion

Apparently Dark stepping happens when you rock the stick back forth (left and right).

Henry's still fun to kill over an over again. Now, if Dark Step is low and charging the Beam Katana, it's possible to do on Henry. Just stay away from him, charge and wait for him to come to you. Rapidly pressing A whilst attacking helps as well for extra hits.

Yo, what you really do is buy the unlimited energy beam powerup and just use low charge to counter all of his attacks.

Once you have the timing of his attacks down it's easy to time the low charge attack to hit him without being hit by the attacks.

Easy to beat, even if you're weak mode. You can actually throw him into a continuous loop of actions.

Once you counter him (with Darkstep or after any of his charged attacks) attack until he stumbles then hit him again. He'll launch a harmless counter and proceed to try to combo you. Darkstep again at that point. When he does his charged defense move, pull him out of it by tilting Wii-mote up and analog forward + A then immediately dodge. You can counter then.

Dark stepping Henry makes this fight much easier. Just block him continuously and at the same time tap the control stick left/right twice. You can also jump slash him.

Easy to evade, when he does his long charge, watch his pose, when he points his sword forward you dodge, he'll fly right past you and leave his back exposed.

your good ill give you that but i happen to see that all you do is high combos mix it up a little in case you didnt know theres a low stance for different combos and you could mix up your combos with high and low switching constantly for one confusing devastating combo

the glitch is that when you boot your wii and go straight to the fight with henry, darkstep is disabled. To fix this, go to any of the paid assassin jobs and make sure to use the dark step. It will now be open for use against henry.

i know how to get dark step with henry in fact i beat him with nothing but the dark step its easy all you got to do is go up to him henrys combo has a weakness the first 4 hits are blockable when he starts the combo block the begining of the combo and hit the nunchuk choystick right as many times as you can with in the first 4 hits if he doesnt do dark step roll out of there but he should do darkstep all you got to watch out for is the charged attacks

If you already bought the infinite thing from Naomi, just keep blocking his crazy combo until he is about to hit you with his last hit(the strike when he jumps into the air with his saber glowing). Also, make sure you block his 2nd to the last hit(his little air strike) in order for dark step to work:)

There is a glitch.

If u load the game and do the real ending right when u load it up, u cant dark step him.

To fix this, go out into any kill mission, and dark step somebody. U can then do it against Henry

When I fight Henry, as soon as he starts his attacks, I just hit left or right on the joystick until I do a Dark Step. If it doesn't work by the time he thrusts his sword into the ground, I just do a side roll to dodge the last attack. Pretty simple once you get his attack patterns down.
