man you wanna see some "real boss"? try my level ghost town 4 and 5... don't try the 1 and 2 they sux it was my firsts levels... and the 3 have no boss but u can try it if u want,,, AND COMING SOON "the killer machine" it has awesome boss.
The gun and bullets and things are all from the Metal Gear Solid pack, which you have to buy seperately.
As for the boss itself, there's no easy way to explain it. It takes hours to make one of these, most of which is spent making the logical bits that control them.
If you wanna learn about logic-stuff, go find the Logic Pack levels put out by LBPCentral.
I cant help much beyond that. The reason there's so few bosses like this is cause of how absurdly complex they are to make.
Aside from the fact that it'd take too long and Im lazy, it'd also not really help alot. Im bad with narration and my way of handling logic bits in LBP tends to differ alot from the norm, which makes it look like this big confusing mess. So, yeah, visuals arent gonna help here.
Not to mention, for the absolute basics of switches and stuff, the game explains that quite well in it's various video tutorials.

There's alot of calibration for the plasma patterns... need to make sure that an undodgeable pattern is never produced... and then there's the logic stuff that controls it.
The logic stuff in particular tends to be very complicated, and takes the longest to make. Usually consists of a hideous jumble of pistons, wires, switches and various other gizmos.

However, dont trash things just cause you dont get it.
i was wondering, is it possible to capture those beams and send it to people so they can set them to an emitter without them having the metal gear pack, im not asking for the stuff that launches the beams, im just asking for the beams
The version of this that you see in the video isnt quite the same as what the final version will be.
The boss itself and the room containing it are finished, but it is to be inserted into a level filled with numerous other bosses. Those blank spots will be filled with stuff at that point.
And it's not possible to send those things to anyone that doesnt have the required pack; MM thought of that well before they ever released any of this type of stuff.
It only results in an error telling you that you dont have the proper pack installed.

It's been a long while since I've even played LBP though. The game's various irritating problems slowly eroded my interest.

Very nice! like the danmaku style.
I reccomend not having darkmatter visible (especially as a platform) and maybe tone down how many hits it needs. other than that, very nice!

This kind of reminds me of Touhou. A very crazy "shoot-em up" game. This is very close, but probably harder because it's a platformer.
