They must have something against computer monitors. They just left the box with my monitor in it in the rain WITH NO PLASTIC BAG around it at my front door.

No it's not, can't you tell it has some weight too it by the way he lifts it from one hand to two hands (sluggishly and with some effort)? And when he takes it out of the truck he holds it down by his side with a nearly straight arm, its weighing his arm down and he'd be holding it up higher if it were just cardboard.. he can throw it over the fence easy with two arms because monitors aren't very heavy, but he treats it like its much heavier than just empty cardboard.

Why don't they just require a signature to confirm the delivery like we do the in UK. That way they have to make it to the front door and the customer sees the package before hand.

Truth is that this guy gets paid a god awful amount to drive around and deliver things. He was just being an asshole. I don't see why everyone is hating on the guy who bought that monitor, I mean he probably earned his money honestly. I'm sure if this happened to you you would be pissed.
