Of all the 'top sonic games' videos I've seen, this Is there first one that featured SA2B.And I also don't understand why people dislike SA2 though? All I hear is that "SA2 is where the sonic games started to go down the pipes" and that has to be the most BS. Collectively I think the Adventure series yielded the best 3D Sonic Games. I mean, yeah, the ones now look a hundred times better, but they just don't play as smoothly as they did. Of course, my top 3 are SA1 SA2 and S3&K.

@671tch Well people that does seem to dislike SA2 is because of the supposed "alternative gameplay" of shooting and treasure hunting which doesnt belong in a Sonic game apparently. That term used for SA2 going down the pipes was meant as a game being better than SA2 which still today no 3D Sonic game has surpassed that game.

I haven't played sa2 and s3&k, but otherwise I think sonic dx is the best sonic game ever (I haven't really played sa1 so I don't really know if there is any differences).

Well, gotta say, for ripping off the Nostalgia Critic, you did it right to the T. Everything about the video is spot on with the NC style. I definitely don't agree with a lot concerning Sonic's reputation, but in terms of sales and actual industry presence, he is going strong. Otherwise he hasn't been doing the hottest recently, I'm afraid.

Good list man. I see that the Advance and Rush games were'nt on the list but i guess its fair since i guess you have'nt played them yet and it looks like there are no portable Sonic games on your list.

My only problem is that I find S3&K, SA2 and CD to be the most overrated Sonic games ever. I like them but they're not as great as everyone says they are.

But that's just my opinion.

Why are Sonic Advance Series, Sonic Battle or Sonic Rush Series not in the list??? I mean it are good 2D Sonic Games. BTW, what do you think about Sonic Unleashed and Sonic & the Black Knight right now? Good or bad???

I didn't really play the Sonic advanced, Battle, nor Rush enough for them to make it on the list. I whould play them more, but my DS got stolen.

Sonic Unleashed (PS3/360): Great game.

S&tBK (Wii): Good, but shallow.

I would agree with your list except a few I would definately knock 06 off the list and add Sonic Rush, I would also switch Sonic 1 and 2 around. So: 1. Sonic 3 and Knuckles 2. Sonic Adventure 2 3. Sonic CD 4. Sonic Rush 5. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 6. Sonic Adventure 7. Sonic the Hedgehog 8. Sonic Heroes 9. Shadow the Hedgehog 10. Sonic and the secret rings I have yet to play Unleashed but by what I have seen it will definately be knicking Secret Rings off my list.

(Possibly in part because my favorite character is Knuckles? xD) Also, I wish I'd gotten the chance to play Sonic Adveture 2.
