Personally I think the E-Firestorm has always been better than the rustler purely because of the reliability and I am not just being biased I have both models and my E-Firestorm is just generally better equipped out the box as well as being more durable. For example CVD's and a castle brushless system which is a lot better than the Velenion system mine went up in smoke in one week :( . Thumbs up if you agree.

i think its a realy nice car thers some cons like the rubber on the bottom of the servo wore of and so now i hav to use tape the antana was to small and i lost it while i was driving pros its strong i just saw i menchend that down there but ya its a really fun car in general so ya i would defenetly recommend this

I have had the Rustler, Rc10t4.1 and the E-Firestorm and I like the Hpi the best. Just as tunable as the T4 and the most durable of the three. Aluminum motor plate, hex hardware, easy to work on, sealed gear metal diff, and same wheels front and back.

I'm extremely stuck between the rustler vxl BL or the t4.1 brushless or this, I really dont know what to get. I wanna be able to go real fast. hit some bit jumps and not be breaking stuff every 5 seconds. also try some tracks. or is there a even better truck I should try? Hope you can help thanks man

mini e revo vxl better 50 + mph with only a extra battery nimh and a series connector with will cost about 35.00. with this thing u need a lipo to get 50 mph + and u will need to buy a charger. with revo lipo u go somewhere in the 70 + mph but im not sure because the front end likes to jump up

@rcnightmare I'll take your word for it. i just thought it was odd that you said you have not yet had a chance to run the truck yet you feel its better than the rustler. And im not saying its not better, iv not driven one ether. All i can say is the FS must be something if its better than the rusty VXL. iv had mine for a couple months and so far i have yet to see any flaw in the truck at all. handles great, fast as hell even on a 2cell and tough as nails.1 busted caster B, wich i fixed cheap.

@CyconXc well I can assure you Hobby Town would not likely of switched it....have you tried to bind it?

@CyconXc You have to bind it first, and then setup the ESC for the new transmitter, you do that by holding full throttle on the transmitter when you turn the truck on. Instructions are in the manual.

This truck is awesome on 3s lipo! It handles sooo well. It is extremely durable and stable while driving. It is perfect for driving in the neighborhood, soccer fields, parks etc. I upgraded to a high torque servo when switching to 3s lipo for added stability with turns. Overall I am completely satisfied with this truck!

hpi is the same way as far as parts go(not available) at the shop i use. Everything is traxxas. I have a few of both brands and find it frustrating. Tax id number bound to become a dealer.
