His was definitely stronger in the novel, as the author himself said that the prowess of the characters in Demi Gods & Semi Devils was exaggerated to the extent that the title of the novel was named as such.

@warpten121 lol thats because qiao fengs 18 dragon IS stronger than GJ. In fact, Qiao Feng was one of the first user's and the dragon palm that qiao feng is using is NOT 18 but rather 28 dragon subduing palms. Him and Xu Zhu decreased it down to only 18 palms.

I just finished watching the 40 part series, and I think it is excellent. Li Qiushui looks extremely good at 88 y.o. Duan Yu is cute, reminds me of a puppy when he follows Ms.Wang about. Since he has bowed to the statue and learned BeiMing ShenGongfrom the scroll, he's learning the XiaoYao Pai kungfu, so not only is he Xu Zhu's blood brother, he's also his martial arts brethren. I like the link.
