Yes - the Co-op is so bothered about Ethics that it funds, supports and lends to the Labour Party which engaged in an illegal war condemning thousnads of innocents to death as 'collateral damage' and a Labour Party which allows extraordinary rendition 'torture flights' into the UK.
Very ethical.
Open your eyes - this is simply a cynical marketing gimmick by the Co-op.
At least the other banks don't make the misleading ethical claims in the first place!

This says it all for me. Don't go through life with your eyes closed!! You really can make a difference just by doing simple things like choosing which Bank you use. Go on - get off your backside and make the switch to an organisation that is genuine about what it does and how it does it.

Companies can make a real difference here. I hear that co-op turns down a lot of business because of it's ethical stance.

I should change my account - I'm sure my savings are being invested in places I wouldn't be comfortable with.
It's so hard to get information about what the banks do with your money, probably investing in conflict diamonds!
