  • I loved the evolution bit with chirstopher Parkening that was great both times

  • HIlarious! he is so good at this.

  • Really Mr. K is, not only a tremendous musician, but also a great comedian in all aspects. Very creative.

  • mitico!!!:D

  • I think I just soiled myself. I'm in pain from laughter.

  • spot on with all of these impressions haha...gotta love bk

  • "Listen to me and do what I say!" So true.

  • LMFAO

  • hJAHJaahjJAHjaHJajajhjahjHJAHJhjhjA !!!!!!!!!

  • That is the best classical guitar video I've seen yet!

    hahahahahahahahaha!!!!

  • Perhaps a 2007 'sketch' with Chen Zhi (?):

Interviewer: "Mr. Chen Zhi, why are your students so good?"

Chen Zhi: "You know, it's the practice. If you do it correctly you reach perfection: like the perfectly regular tick of the metronome - which I tell my students to switch on and place under their pillow when sleeping"

  • Perhaps a 2007 'sketch' with Fisk could go like this:

Interviewer: "Eliot, I've heard you recorded Scarlatti".

Fisk: "You know, it suits me, because I've found that Scarlatti is very much like Paganini! By the way - have you heard my Paganini?"

Interviewer: "Ahh, yes... What do you think of Li Jie?"

Fisk: "Don't use that swear word in front of me."

  • Superb, thanks! I especially enjoyed the Parkening 'sketch' and Segovia's: "so listen to me and do what I say!"

  • haha

  • Demais! Muito bom, muito engraçado! Eu não imaginava isso vindo do William theSinger! Quando você vem para o Brasil (se o Odair Assad deixar)?

Awesome! Very good, very funny! I didn't imagine it coming from William theSinger... =) When are you coming to Brazil (if Odair Assad let you)?

  • Awesome Bill! See you in September!

  • WOW, Screech is very funny.

  • Music jokes are sooooo funny. (sarcastic)

  • Shit man I wish I was in the states playing.

Although yous have some a the worlds finest (as in bill) yous know not to take it tooo serious!

  • funny

I was wondering too where JW was but he doesn't seem have any excentric personality traits that could be made fun of

  • William, Very good on everyone, except possibly Maestro Segovia. For my five years with him he was very soft spoken and kind. Once in awhile he became excited when we discussed family, food and some transcriptions. I do understand he could get upset with a student, but I did not see it. However, I do have some stories! Good job both on this video and your playing. Keep on, keepin' on. Jim Greeninger

  • Very Very Funny...

  • sonovagun not only a pretty mean guitar player and teacher but a comedian too. don't tell me you run a sub-3:00 marathon too?

  • Holy shit! This is right on. You are my hero Bill.

  • HEHEHE.... I remember at a masterclass, Pepe Romero said just like that: "Make the guitar sound like she's feeling good."

  • This actaully took place at the 2005 GFA at the Oberlin Conservatory.

  • Brilliant, especially the Anglophile impersonations [Pujol] ha ha

  • me parto el culo! jajajajajajajajajaja

  • Brilliant. Refreshing. Spot on. Great post.

  • I went to see him at a concert recently. It was a great performance with very few wrong notes played.

I think he is a much better guitarist than a comedian.

    He's just doing different accents.

  • Gtrmusic69, it's not just accents. If you knew anything about the personalities he's referring to, you would recognize the humor which is extremely funny. Kanengiser has brilliant wit and has the credibility to roast even the most untouchable masters without being mean. I think its very good for the health of the guitar community.

  • Hahaha, this is so funny, reminds me of Victor Borge. "Odair Assad" is my favorite.

  • Remember when Power Point classical guitar comedy was funny & cool?

    Yeah, me neither.

  • Where the hell is JW?

  • Pretty spot-on impersonations, have to say.
