I have been using Homebrew and playing downloaded games, but I now want to back up my games Everything that I've tried with DVD Dump has taken way too long. The first game went fine in just a few hours. Now, whenever I try a game, it takes at least 20 hours! Why might this be?

If your wii remote isnt working then take out the gamecube controller before starting it or use the gamecube controller.

you can't save it to the wii's memory. it doesen't have an hdd it just flash memory 512 MB. of it. a typical wii game is about 4.75 GB Dual layers are around 8.75 GB

when i download the iso i get an iso file and an iso.part file/s. the iso file has no bytes on it while the iso.part file/s does. wat do i do.

That happens to me sometimes with divx files. the .part file is the one with the data. i just delete the ".part" at the end of the file extension which leaves me a .divx file, but would give you a ".iso" extension at the end of the file name in this case. try it and tell us if that works.

after a few downloads i figured out that the .iso file contains no bytes while downloading but only the part file gains data, but at the end of the download all the data moved to the .iso file and the part file was left empty. so i just deleted the part file and burned the .iso file and it worked

i just try today with guitar hero world t and works via wifi take 3h to complete to ur hdd cuz wii only read at 3x thats why anoying loading but works after that complete u need to patch the iso before burn take like 3sec to patch then burn it at 4x if u try 16x on movies it will scratch i burn it at 4x using imgburn i use tdk and memorex works both for me :P

i already copy of some wii games and i did this with wireless WiFi and Wii Lan Adaptor. The difference is that with the Lan Adapter the games copy alot faster within a hour. with wireless 3hours. so ithernet is better and alot quicker.

After the dumping process is started on my wii and the IP address is provided, I enter it into my firefox browser but I get a Page Load Error stating the the network has timed out. Do you know what I'm doing wrong? It does it every time. Also in order to dump to an SD card you probably need at least a 6 or 8 GB card in order to so, right? Thanks.

I just used an sd card, it said 100% complete or something like that. I put the sd card in my pc, got a dvd+r, burned it successfully, tried it on my wii... unable to read disc. did this with 3 different discs.

download something called IMGBURN, then get a DVD-R, and burn the ISO file to the disk at 4x or 8x speed.... then use backup launcher to play the game. comprende?

you can split it up by telling the program to stop ripping the game after so many megabytes. Also, you need to get a dual layer DVD if you want to backup brawl
