@35057 I had an MS3 in my LS1 M6 Goat, and I do a lot of highway driving (probably 85%) and it used to knock out 29.8 consistently on the interstate. Very efficient engines, and I think with the added power from the cam, it doesn't take as much grunt from the engine for the car to cruise down the interstate/highway. Thus, your higher MPGs.

THe heads on this are stock LS6 Castings. You can run it on stock heads, but you'll be leaving a lot of power on the table. just CHECK THE PTV clearance!

Lobe seperation angle.. Lope of the cam.. time when both valves are open at the same time measured in degrees of rotation..

Actually, it's the distance in degrees that the intake and exhaust lobes are spread apart, not the amount of time they spend open at the same time. That does happen though and a lower lobe-sep will have both valves open at the same time for a longer period because the open and close ramps for both lobes are closer together. Having both valves open helps with scavenging.

Yeah.. TTII's.. 17" x 11" all around.. I think 50mm offset. If you want 11"s all around the ZR1's @ 50mm offset work great too..

Keep in mid too, that a LOT of people now are OVER Camming these cars. You can make great power w/ a good set of heads and some Cam research to find out what you want your goal to be.

It pulls nice, but I was just expecting a bit more snap out of it.. Prolly due to stock gears too.. It's got a TSP Tune in it.

Meh... I've driven that same MS4 and it's pretty much useless under 4000 rpm.. It's a peak #'s cam.. it also does NOT like to be baby'd!!! NOT at ALL!! IT makes a lot of top end HP, but you have to tach the piss out of it.. THat and the TReX cam are the biggest you can go in an LS1 w/ out fly cutting the pistons.. Although there have been people posting about eyelash on pistons w/ the MS4 lately. It's so close you should really check the clearances CLOSELY before firing it up.

ITt's not much to wite home about under 3k rpm. It's a peak #'s cam.. Granted it's better than stock, but you won't get all the power unless you rev the piss outta it.
