Ben's delemia in this episode gets to one of my biggest gripes in fiction. When characters get upset at their romantic partners get upset at each other because of the fact they were with other people before they met. Is the concept of dating really so foreign to these people that it comes as such a shock they dated other people before they met. It smacks of childlessness
