Yes he would be able to see out of it due to the riser. When you look down a scope (or any sight). You're not going to press you're face right up against the lens. So the mask would not affect it
@snipefox the current price is 900 dollars cuz it went down 100 dollars it used 2 b 1000 dollars but be careful alot of paintball places don't let u use first strike becuz they don't sell them plus there expensive even though it can fire regular paintballs but u really don't want 2 pay 900 dollars for a regular gun it's made 4 first strike rounds they might as well be used if u want 2 save the money and buy one check the paintball place or places u go 2 see if the allow or sell first strike
so the sniper rounds are not in the mag? i dont get why you have to switch from sniper rounds to mag rounds, cant you have all sniper rounds in the mag and just use those?
Can't we do any thing more to increase the accuracy and stable for T4? As a sniper rifle, I think it should have much better accuracy and longer distance than electrical sport paintball guns, isn't it?
@MrDoogie1989 well its not used to spray every living thing (trees included) such as a tourny marker. this is.. as you can see, for sniping mainly. but you can always switch to the hopper to use regular paint if you dont want to be stingey
@lilcam97 They were using HPA. When the weather is that cold outside, you can't really use Co2. If you do, the Co2 won't have enough time to expand from gas (or most probably, liquid) until it hits your marker. Co2 expands a lot, it's the way you get so many shots out of a tank. If a little bit of liquid gets into your marker and expands, nothing good will come of it. Co2 is not *THAT* consistent, but colder weather makes it worse. HPA really is the way to go.
@97tommygun first strike rounds a "sniper" paintballs essentially. They are a paintball that has increased accuracy and distance best used for sniping.
@97tommygun the rounds are using a technology that has been around in the firearms industry for years. Tiberius is putting rifling on the paintball to impart a spin on it as it leaves the barrel, that spin thus reduces the effects of wind drag on the paintball, making it fly farther and not drift off target as severely as a regular paintball would.
@TheNille92 well the point of the T4 and first strike is, if you had one and was facing off against a TM7 or X7, they wouldn't even be able to hit you from the range you'd be able to fire from.
@ModernIntel It's not about the gun it's about the player, i play with an x7 and all those show off "competition" players with theire electronic guns lose acainst me and my brother because we play togehter and don't use lika a 1000 round a match. I don't doubt the efficiencey of the t4 as a sniper but i doubt it could be used as an assault gun at the front line.
@TheNille92 yup you're totally right, skill is definitely better than a marker, but an X7 or TM7 just can physically match the range of a T4. Trigger control and teamwork are definitely ideal for any paintball game. The T4 is definitely not a front-line assault rifle. It's a dedicated sniper rifle designed only for sniper situations.
@TheNille92 No. just stop with that bs.. just becuase you beat some nubes with electros doesnt mean that your a badass who gets to call out all of those players who use 1000 rounds(aka speedball players.aka more then half of the industry.)
How did you calculate cross wind, your telling me you knew what heading you were shooting in to and then you called in to a FSS station to see what heading at you current altitude the wind was coming from, so you could calculate the cross wind just to demonstrate the T4. DA Just don't use big words to make yourself sound smart.
@ModernIntel sorry bud, but he is partly correct, the amount of calculus you would have to do to determine the affect a "cross wind" has on your projectiles trajectory is a very rigerous bit indeed.. and all that was just to tell you that i dont think you can do the math in your head. there is a reason snipers work in pairs, and have to be masters of mathmatics. either way, good vid. its a nice gun. peace.
Physics would say that the plastic on the FS would shrink along with the barrel, causes a gap between the barrel and FS round. An HPA tank would have what ever density the air was compressed at. Air is less dense than Co2 therefore, air would escape more rapidly around the FS round causing a loss in constancy.
Co2 which is more dense gas would have less air escaping around FS round. However, the Co2 would need to be allowed to expand and worm up after allowed these two processes Co2 would have a better constancy.
@ModernIntel I use HPA for most of my markers and yes everyone would most likely disagree with me. Because no paintball player knows anything about either gas Co2 or Air.
@usustudentpilot so I guess you're the only person right in this world about paintball. I suspect you live in a cold climate? But from what I see you're not as far north as we are. Come live in Canada for a bit, cold weather in the US is nothing. Try to use your "more consistent" Co2 in -20c and see how well your marker works.
@usustudentpilot What you're missing is that HPA's critical point is much, much lower (lower temperature and higher pressure) than CO2's (higher temperature and lower pressure). If you have HPA at -20C, no amount of pressure in the world will compress it into a liquid.
CO2, on the other hand, will happily convert to a liquid in a paintball tank at 30C. At -20, your gun tends to spit liquid. Which is bad. It doesn't expand as fast (not as much velocity) and can freeze electronic components.
@usustudentpilot "An HPA tank would have what ever density the air was compressed at." No. Air is air, it's density is it's density. The gun operates at whatever pressure it operates at, so even though inside your HPA tank the density is 4000 psi, your gun is still only going to use what it's designed for, therefore "Physics would say" that if Co2 is 5x as dense as air (for example, I havn't looked it up), then your gun would use 1/5 as much Co2 as it would air. Make sense smarty?
i mean, what's giving it the range besides the first strike rounds, the length of that barrel, and the FPS? would a 9.1 with same length barrel, FS rounds, and firing 270fps do the same thing?
@paintballdude26 yes, this marker mainly uses magazines to feed paint. You can also attach a hopper to the marker and switch back and forth depending on the game!
can u use first strike ammunition in a hopper? It doesnt look like it at all, but it doesnt seem like they can shoot 500 ft either...(yes, my field allows the fps to go up to 300.) That's crazy ammo. How much does it cost?
@paintballgeek1 no, you can't use first strike in a hopper since the rounds need to be inserted a specific way. You can definitely get 500 feet if you're shooting at 300fps
@Bcboi92 it's always based on your local fields to decide which type of paint to use. First Strike adds a new depth to paintball that fields should embrace, most fields are just uneducated with First Strike. You can get FS in field paint colours too.
Can you give me a site or reference to where I can buy one? Im not sure how much it is either, but I have about $1500. Also how much to first strike rounds sell for?
there is a new T9.1 out with an HPA tank in the stock of the gun! its more accurate and MUCH cheaper. around $300. it has an HPA tank inside the stock, instead of CO2 which is what the T4 uses.CO2 is less accurate.
it also has many other up dates. also first strike is $30 for a case of 40 rounds.
basically, a T9.1 is a cheaper, more accurate gun. but make sure you buy a T9.1 not a T9 regular.
thats pretty crazy, ive watched a few videos about this gun and round, and i must say, its deffinatley worth lookin into buying. it looks like it will out do my delta with stinger carbon barrel, which makes flatlines look like shit. are these first strike rounds compatible with all guns, and do the make a special feed for it?
@damrunner2 First strike rounds are usable in all paintball markers, but you need to manually feed each round in one at a time because of their more oval shape. Markers that are currently "fully-compatible" with the First Strike round are: Tiberius T8.1, T9.1, T4, any T8/T9 with the conversion kit, and the Goblin Solo. We hope to see more and more companies adopting this paint projectile!
@W0ND3RWALL1 that price sounds about right, I'm not too familiar with other currencies since we are in Canada. Try paintball website forums and classified websites to sell your old pb gear.
@W0ND3RWALL1 It is Tiberius' 4x32 scope, you get it with the T4, it is illuminated. Not sure where I would suggest you buy it since you live in the UK, check out your local paintball stores and ask around.
@TTTtcubed in the video we chrono the T4 and tell you what the speed is. Keep in mind that the chrono was done using regular paintballs, first strike rounds usually about approx. 10 FPS to the current speed. The scope is a 4x32 scope that comes stock with the T4 and it works beautifully!
At first I thought they were talking about -10 F. -10 C isn't nearly as cold.

@W0ND3RWALL1 that price sounds about right, I'm not too familiar with other currencies since we are in Canada. Try paintball website forums and classified websites to sell your old pb gear.

where is the best place to buy he gun (best price)
W0ND3RWALL1 1 year ago
@W0ND3RWALL1 It is Tiberius' 4x32 scope, you get it with the T4, it is illuminated. Not sure where I would suggest you buy it since you live in the UK, check out your local paintball stores and ask around.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
either way your test sucked, zoom in on the subject being fired upon, bunch of poster childs who would get womped on the field.

@PumpThis1 lol, ok well see you on the field then. Is this what you did when you did your T4 test with First Strike?
ModernIntel 1 year ago
a couple questions:
1)were you using field legal pressure settings, because any most guns can shoot accurately if the velocity is high enough.
2)i know it cant be much but how much does the scope magnify?
TTTtcubed 1 year ago
@TTTtcubed in the video we chrono the T4 and tell you what the speed is. Keep in mind that the chrono was done using regular paintballs, first strike rounds usually about approx. 10 FPS to the current speed. The scope is a 4x32 scope that comes stock with the T4 and it works beautifully!

why didn't you just flip the tape over? You could measure that last distance.

@kaymanclark running out of camera battery power and video tape and day light.

Please correct me if im wrong but if u set the FPS to 270 using regular paintball then switching to FS rounds would have u at 300 FPS.
