  • Great commercial! Thanks for bringing back awesome childhood memories! There was a Kiddie City less than a mile from my home in San Antonio, which I frequented. When the Toy Box moved in across the street at North Star Mall (I believe), it was the beginning of the demise of this much-loved "first" (for me) toy store. Today I learned Kiddie City was a nationwide chain of well over 100 stores, mainly in the east. KC was a haven and oasis in the desert of then-suburbia San Antonio, Texas. Fun!
