The issue is this. There is the high possibility that the officer had calmly explained to the reporter that he had to leave. He may even have done this several times. The point... we weren't there so we don't know. Further speculation is most likely a waste of our time.

Here's the question. What happened before the camera started rolling? We obviously didn't see and hear everything because we weren't there. Was the officer wrong, maybe. Where the reporters wrong, maybe. All in all your right, the camera doesn't lie. Truth: someone here did something wrong.
It sucks that the audio is garbage on this video. I see a lot of avoidable confrontation here though. Although the reporter and camera man should have made haste with leaving the scene, the officer could have handled the situation much better. Rather than calmly explaining his reasoning, the officer wastes no time with taking out the hand irons just to prove a point and make an example out of these guys.

What was that cop thinking? Reporters are THE MEDIA and media have connections with local, and state government. I remember when the DEA setup a money laundering sting operation in Las Vegas and fished in a Mexican guy. Turned out to be someone big in the mexican government and was let go free. Why? I don´t know. The DEA agents involved were told to forget about it. That it never happened. Some people are simply just above the law.

Police got pissed that they didn't move along. Not handled very well but those guys should have done as instructed or at least got in their truck and re-parked it properly.

First, these reporters were not "beat down" like the title of the vid says, they were ARRESTED for not following an officer's instructions. What part of "get in the car and leave" did they not understand? Second, I am always amazed when someone who does not listen to a cop's specific instructions suddenly becomes surprised when he's placed under arrest. Those reporters are idiots and got what they deserved, plain and simple. Move along, reporters, there is nothing to see here.

The issue is this. There is the high possibility that the officer had calmly explained to the reporter that he had to leave. He may even have done this several times. The point... we weren't there so we don't know. Further speculation is most likely a waste of our time.

Here's the question. What happened before the camera started rolling? We obviously didn't see and hear everything because we weren't there. Was the officer wrong, maybe. Where the reporters wrong, maybe. All in all your right, the camera doesn't lie. Truth: someone here did something wrong.

It sucks that the audio is garbage on this video. I see a lot of avoidable confrontation here though. Although the reporter and camera man should have made haste with leaving the scene, the officer could have handled the situation much better. Rather than calmly explaining his reasoning, the officer wastes no time with taking out the hand irons just to prove a point and make an example out of these guys.

There is a way to enforce the laws without acting like an ape on crack. This cop is lacking ANY decency or self control. That makes him a piece of shit. A little courtesy goes a long way. The reporter should have listened to the cop and left the scene. Its very dangerous after an accident and cars driving by can run into emergency workers and cause other accidents.
The reporter says in one of his comments, "Im just trying to leave". When before after the officer asked him to leave the scene, he kept saying, " I'm going to ask this guy a question"..
