  • What a wonderful find. Seeing the men whose names are legend going about their lives completed the circle that began in my early teens when I first became interested in polar exploration. The film is from a more innocent time. Or should I say, naive.   • This is an amazing film, containing some incredible footage and photos of the tragic Scott expedition. I have seen lots of Ponting's superb photography but only became aware of the documentary while recently reading "The Race to the End", a fascinating book detailing the race between Scott and Amundsen to reach the pole. I have since been searching for the movie at libraries and video stores without success, so I was delighted to find it here. It more than lived up to my expectations. Thanks!
