Man what were they thinking to chose this circuit for a B-Spec event? It's almost impossible, I have a 7 and I just win on 3rd and the cars block me when I go up on the first corner trying to overtake, I also tried your hint, the circuit is full of corners, and after the tunnel the bot hits the wall, well they should've chosen a better circuit like Trial Mountain or someother with more straights so that the 7 or the 2J could go fast and gain more advantage

Pretty obvious that the video is of an a-spec race, not b-spec! Any noob can win this in A-spec with a toyota 7 + stage 3 turbo and stock tuning!! Getting your Bob to do it however is a much harder task
@edononewheel If you can read that, your an absolute champion! lol. During the race there is no hot/cold bar, instead there is the balance bar, and the option in the middle to direct your bob to increase or decrease speed is not there either. . . other things such as the maps and map options are not there... but it is possible to hide the latter during bspec, so it doesn't count... the other things though are always present. Fuel and tires are in the wrong spot too... still looks a-spec to me

I did it with a level 21 "cold" driver, in a 2j with a turbo and stock settings. Didnt need to coach him at all, just clicked speed up twice at the start, changed the channel, and came back to a victory. . . use the spa seasonal b-spec to grind bspec levels if you need them though, easy win + exp
After so many struggles, I won this, though I was damn lucky. Months before I had used the Toyota 7, had no luck so I just left it. Tonight I tried again using the 2J just to see if it would do better, though the damn AI 2J was always in front so I kept on restarting till it was behind. It eventually went to 9th place but jumped straight to 2nd 40 secs later. But around the corner at 01:45, it crashed into the wall which I doubt will never happen for me again. In the end, it was 25 secs behind.

Use the 2J chapparal with a stage 3 turbo and with medium race tires. Only other thing is that you need to drop max speed to 155mph or 250km/h.i won it 25 seconds in front of second

@01PAPZ01, well you know allot about gt5, in replay mode it shows is in a spec mode as you can see by the way the driver is driving and how there isn´t headphones, this is replay´s and replay´s are always shown as a spec!!

@thehugo008 Why not just make sure there is only one 2J in the starting grid use the Toyota 7 and set the car up with miloridge settings and by lap 4 you should easily second then make sure you keep your driver calm and the 2J will make mistakes specially in the last corner. By lap 6 you should be very close tell you driver to overtake only when your bumper to bumper and one the long straight just before the corner, and once your in front nothing can catch you

Try bumping down dampers when you bump down the spring rates. Also, bump damping should be lower than droop damping in general. I ended up with setting close to yours, but with dampers at front bump 7 front droop 5, and rear bump 6 rear droop 5. These settings might let you run a click more roll bar to give similar turn in/exit feel but better ultimate grip.

It took me one try with the car specs you sggstd to win...although I didn't notice that I was trying with the harder racing compound, when in fact it had to be fitted with Medium Tires...anyway...another gold trophy...thank you so much.

You're absolutely right, but i finally did it lol^^ thx to @miloridge for the fine details, i did indeed shit bricks, and the 2J ended up second to last after countless failed overtake attempts at the 1:47 spot. It was a good day! :D
@TheHabsmtl this settings worked really well. i had bob overtake the Ferrari P4 on the last lap. watch out for the 2j, really quick in the corners but slow in the straights. also a very big tip! DON"t try to overtake anyone at 1:47, Bob will fail horribly, and hit that wall and get stuck there till he is in last. I got lucky when he hit the wall because a ford gt try to cut the corner and hit my front causing me to continue. Happy racing!

@FcukCensoredSht Go "full screen" to that you can clearly see that it's B-spec (8 laps). Note the 1/8 (signifiying 8 laps) in the top left corner. Get on your PS3 and got to the A-spec of this event and you'll see that A-spec is only 5 laps.
I'm with @Rilycoe on this one. That FIRST lap....that looked like A-SPEC to me! Afterwards....it turned into B-Spec. Just saying....check your own video again bro.
@Shaunzz2000 You got to be joking. If I drive the same Toyota 7 myself: at least take 3rd place at 1st corner, never allow other cars overtake me that easily like the Ferrari did in the video, late brake every corner to get to 1st place ASAP, have no concern about cars in the front = crash into them if I must to overtake.
As miloridge mentioned earlier, A-Spec is a 5-Lap race instead of B-Spec's 8-Lap.

I only made a couple of changes to what you said, that were changing the initial torque to max. and top speed a little bit bigger maybe between 280 or 300.
Besides all of this i needed to nurse my bob the entire race, telling him to speed up and overcome the opponents, except for danger zones like the chicanes.
@eulluisgtr34 Follow my settings below exactly and you'll beat it. It took three tries with the settings I have below. Two of those tries my driver placed 2nd. With the settings your driver will make his way to the front, but at the same time you have to manage him tactfully. Even while he had first place.
Along with the tune below you MUST manage your driver. when you run (or those of you who ran) this race through, you know where the rough spots are. Plus, I did a lot of overtake commands. With the tune below I did less managing than before this tune, but you still have to keep an eye on him (even when he gets to first place). My driver hit first place around lap 4. When I applied the same to the Minolta for the GT All Stars it was like unleashing a raged animal. Next to no managing needed.
I won this the other day. My driver is Lvl 23. My Toyota 7 settings: Tires: Racing Medium Aero: Max 60f, 85r Gear Ratio: 155MPH Initial Torque: 7 Acceleration Sensitivity: 45 Braking Sensitivity: 15 Ride Height: Front (-15), Rear (-15) Spring Rate: Front 14.5, Rear 16.0 Dampers: leave at defaults 8f, 8r Anti-Roll Bars: 6f, 6r Toe: Default Wheel Alignments: Defaults Brake Balance: 5f, 5r (PS: This tune will knock your socks off...Trust!) @Rilycoe No, you can't, and I certainly could not take over from B-Spec driver as well. As mentioned in the description, the 2J Race Car is the key factor (it was behind my driver's position at the start in the video) to win.
I DON'T CARE WHAT PEOPLE SAY. THOSE ARE THE BEST PREFERENCES FOR THE TUN UPS HANDS DOWN. PERIOD. If u can't start a race without the 2j in front of u at least have him at least 2 positions away from you if u can pass him then, the other drivers will slow him down for you.
Never understood why the GT guys made B-Spec. Why would you hand the keys to an AI driver. The whole point is for you to drive. Plus why are your AI drivers such wimps! Same car, Lv24, max upgrades and tuning and still near the back. They just don't want to race!

The settings TheHabsmtl wrote worked for me. I was first by lap 6 and won at the end by 8 seconds. Finally finished it after 2 months

i hate my bob so much for this! he's rolling steady at level 37, but still he can't do this with a 932bhp toyota 7, 704bhp Jag XJ or 655bhp Ford GT race car! it's abnoxious-.O except for the last endurance race, this is the only one im short of...blah...

You're absolutely right, but i finally did it lol^^ thx to @miloridge for the fine details, i did indeed shit bricks, and the 2J ended up second to last after countless failed overtake attempts at the 1:47 spot. It was a good day! :D

i won in bspec with the toyota 7 driver lvl24, settings:
Downforce: F:60 R:85 //////Turbo: Mid RPM Range Turbo Kit (Stage 2)
LSD: IT=30 , AS= 55 , BS=30 //////Transmission: 224mph top speed
Suspension: Ride height= -30/-30 /////Spring Rate= 20/20
Dampers ext and comp both= 10/10/
Anti Roll Bars= 7/7 Camber: F= 7.0, R= 0.0 Toe: F= -0.10 / R= 0.15
Brakes: F=9 / R=8. oh btw dont use turbo stage 3 its gonna make bob spin outta control and watch out for the corners

@TheHabsmtl this settings worked really well. i had bob overtake the Ferrari P4 on the last lap. watch out for the 2j, really quick in the corners but slow in the straights. also a very big tip! DON"t try to overtake anyone at 1:47, Bob will fail horribly, and hit that wall and get stuck there till he is in last. I got lucky when he hit the wall because a ford gt try to cut the corner and hit my front causing me to continue. Happy racing!

@FcukCensoredSht Go "full screen" to that you can clearly see that it's B-spec (8 laps). Note the 1/8 (signifiying 8 laps) in the top left corner. Get on your PS3 and got to the A-spec of this event and you'll see that A-spec is only 5 laps.

I'm with @Rilycoe on this one. That FIRST lap....that looked like A-SPEC to me! Afterwards....it turned into B-Spec. Just saying....check your own video again bro.

If I drive the same Toyota 7 myself: at least take 3rd place at 1st corner, never allow other cars overtake me that easily like the Ferrari did in the video, late brake every corner to get to 1st place ASAP, have no concern about cars in the front = crash into them if I must to overtake.
As miloridge mentioned earlier, A-Spec is a 5-Lap race instead of B-Spec's 8-Lap.

@uxgalyq thanks a lot for your help, i passed this maybe at the 8th time but it was worth it :-)
I only made a couple of changes to what you said, that were changing the initial torque to max. and top speed a little bit bigger maybe between 280 or 300.
Besides all of this i needed to nurse my bob the entire race, telling him to speed up and overcome the opponents, except for danger zones like the chicanes.

@eulluisgtr34 Follow my settings below exactly and you'll beat it. It took three tries with the settings I have below. Two of those tries my driver placed 2nd. With the settings your driver will make his way to the front, but at the same time you have to manage him tactfully. Even while he had first place.

Along with the tune below you MUST manage your driver. when you run (or those of you who ran) this race through, you know where the rough spots are. Plus, I did a lot of overtake commands. With the tune below I did less managing than before this tune, but you still have to keep an eye on him (even when he gets to first place). My driver hit first place around lap 4. When I applied the same to the Minolta for the GT All Stars it was like unleashing a raged animal. Next to no managing needed.

@Rilycoe No, you can't, and I certainly could not take over from B-Spec driver as well. As mentioned in the description, the 2J Race Car is the key factor (it was behind my driver's position at the start in the video) to win.

I DON'T CARE WHAT PEOPLE SAY. THOSE ARE THE BEST PREFERENCES FOR THE TUN UPS HANDS DOWN. PERIOD. If u can't start a race without the 2j in front of u at least have him at least 2 positions away from you if u can pass him then, the other drivers will slow him down for you.

Never understood why the GT guys made B-Spec. Why would you hand the keys to an AI driver. The whole point is for you to drive. Plus why are your AI drivers such wimps! Same car, Lv24, max upgrades and tuning and still near the back. They just don't want to race!
