If the Metro fans love Flxible that damn much, they would respect it's name and spell it right.

You mean the 9800s. The 9500s were 1984 model Neoplan AN-440s. WMATA retired those sometime in the mid-late '90s.

Spellcheck time: It's F-L-X-I-B-L-E, but is pronounced as "Flexible." The first "e" in the name was dropped in 1919 so that the company could trademark the name.
