I don't like the Mini Cooper ever since a drunk, speeding driver from England almost hit me head on with one of these ugly vehicles and totaled my Oldsmobile Cutlass Cruiser SL. The Mini driver lost control of his vehicle, complained about a steering problem, but luckily was unhurt after he ran down an embankment and turned over. I want my Oldsmobile Cutlass Cruiser SL back and Mini Cooper out of business! If you want a stylish car, get a Ford F-150 or Mercury Grand Marquis.
Had the original Mini wagon back in 70's very practical, fun to drive, economical but this one is EXPENSIVE. The original one was less than other cars even full size cars, you can buy Camry and Accord for this one
Excellent demonstration - particularly liked the glimpses of thigh, although she's not the most beautiful girl on the planet, I would definately give her one. Liked the car too
I fit comfortably in the Cooper S and I am 6' 3" and about 300 lbs. is there any more leg room for the driver in the clubman versus the regular Cooper S? I would think with the added length of the vehicle. Let me know. Thanks!
If you're single or don't have kids, I would definitely get the Clubman. You don't see it everywhere and resale value is unbeatable. If you have a family, I would think about the Mazda because it's just a little more practical. But I've been on the Clubman and the rear leg room is surprisingly spacious as long as you're under 5'11''.
@Ryryfrvr I have a 2010 cooper clubman s and I love it to death. The only way to know if youll like it or not is to test drive one........Also, go to Miniusa.com and build one to suit you.
@AngryBirdSEASONS When your off the 3 year warranty, to maintain the car is very expensive. Since it is made by BMW the mechanics that service it charge a lot per hour. Also, a lot of times the PS fan (the fan that cools the engine) fails and so does the motor that powers the windows. Hey, it's a nice car, a BMW actually, but with that prestige comes the maintenance of the car since German engineered cars are very precise and their parts are very expensive or hard to fix by yourself.
@chipsandcheesecurlz That's why you option the extended warranty and roll it into you're loan. It makes it a 6 year 100,000 mile maintenance warranty for $1500. That includes brakes as well.
Because at high speeds (80+) it's dangerous for the rear wheels to experience lift. Like in sports cars like a Lotus Exige the downforce creates suction towards the ground from both ends. If you have 60/40 front/rear weight distribution you need to provide a balancing force in the rear at high speeds.
not bad but the styling is no half as nice as the classic. I do feel as if the clubman may be a little safer. I was really bummed out when I found out the cool new "Hot Chocolate' color is only available for the clubman!

@Ryryfrvr I know I'm a little late to reply, but the Mazda will have better reliability (maybe), but everything else goes to the Cooper probably.

Why does the base Mini require high test ? My only draw back from purchasing the car.

Downforce is downforce.... Just have to go fast enough.

Okay, so why should you put weight on the back axel. while the engine turns the front?
