  • that would have happened to my 89 chevy s10 if i didnt fix the floor.

  • aren't you glad you bought it off eBay?

  • @redneckratrodPat Thrilled. I would have looked at it before bidding if I was going to spend more on it.

  • This is why I like California cars...

  • u bought a pos

  • Too bad for that poor old wagon! What did you say about the mechanical cooling fan?

When my next door neighbor had his 1994 9C1 Caprice, he gutted the interior as the carpet was totally ruined with cigarette burns and many other sins. When the carpet and seats were out, it became obvious that there was basically *no* floor left. He put a new floor and interior in the car, and it actually turned out well.

  • @uxwbill The mechanical fan in the 94-96 wagons meant it has the tow package which gives you a posi rear end with 2.93:1 rear axle among other things. I had "fixed" the floor in this thing with computer lids and a rivet gun (real redneck!). I found the frame to be swiss cheese in a lot of spots, this thing is completely unsafe to drive as far as I'm concerned. Its part will live on in other more fortunate wagons.

  • I can only remember seeing one Roadmaster Wagon in my life and that was- and still is- when I go to pick my sister up from school, another kid's dad has one. In great shape from what I can see & tell. Nice video, though.

  • My truck has the same problem the road salt just eats everything away

  • $650.00 car item number for ebay 150719958102

  • @pushmowerman89 That's the one! He had it on craigslist for $1500 before the auction, never was worth anywhere near that much. But for what I paid I can get that and more in parts out of it.

  • How much did you get it for?

  • Damn, Buick Rustmaster for sure. I've had it with seeing these B Body wagons and sedans so poorly taken care of. Both are getting pretty rare. I've only seen 2 Caprice wagons and Roadmaster Sedans, as well as a fair number of Caprice sedans and 1 Roadmaster wagon in my life but that's it. Most have been in surprisingly good shape. Another waste of a nice car but hey at least you have parts for your other wagons and 9-C1. What's more comfortable in these, the cloth or leather?

  • @mhtube01 They surely are getting rare now! Alot have been totally rigged over the years With higher gas prices and everyone thinking these cars get 10mpg are causing alot of clean ones to go to the scrapper when a small problem exists!

  • @ghtowagon Tell me about it! They really aren't that bad on gas, much better than a full size SUV like a Ford Expedition or a Cadillac Escalade or something like that. In fact, they're not that different from what minivans equipped with V6s get. But forget fuel economy, these wagons have unmatched cargo space and are great travel cars. The sedan versions have massive trunks too! I really want to find one with an LT1 in good shape and have it as a future car!

  • @ghtowagon Not to mention that horrible cash 4 clunkers piece of shit. Wiped out more perfectly good B-bodies than I care to think about.

  • @moldymac Yup! That still makes me sick.. The owners and the people running the program were the problem. Not the cars. I driven close to ever make and model car from 1990- present. I tell ya. I get back in an old B-body and they just drive awesome. Even in the wind.. These cars sail through high winds straight as an arrow. Any car car gets blown allover.

  • @ghtowagon totally agree with you! I mess around with different cars and have driven a few different makes and models, but I still find myself back in a B-body. By far these are my favorite cars to drive and work on.

  • @moldymac Oh heavens. I cringe just to think about it...

  • @mhtube01 The leather is really comfortable, but the cloth is nice in the winter as its not as cold.

  • @moldymac Ohh ok. That's true for leather in the winter, and it also gets extremely hot in the summer. I just wondered cause I've heard people say the cloth is more comfortable in the Caprice but in the Roadmaster, Olds CC, and the Cadillac Fleetwood, the leather is more comfortable. Not sure why but I've seen some Caprices with the pillow style cloth seats and man they look like you could sleep in them.

  • @mhtube01 I can't say much for the "premium" caprice seats as I have yet to own one with those in it, but I did ride in my friend's caprice that has those and I found them pretty comfortable. I think the year has something to do with seats too. I have leather seats out of a 93 in my 9C1 and find the leather in my 95 to be much more comfortable.

  • @moldymac Yeah I think it does too. The seats in your 95 Roadmaster wagon are such a neat design and they look very comfortable and everyone says the best seats are in the 94-96 Roadmaster Limited Sedans since I think they were designed by orthopedic specialists. Plus those had heated/memory seats as an option. I have yet to even see one of these up close in person but I'm convinced that nothing beats an LT1 powered B Body wagon or sedan! I need to find one myself in the future!

  • love the wagon vids man. but speaking of rust i drove a 1979 Malibu through the winter of my senior year of high school that had rust running from the door sill to the trans hump. i was also wondering when your gonna do a tractor land update?

  • @rockermotorhead Thanks. Nothing much has happened in tractor land, probably do something in the spring though.

  • Yeah, that's rotten. How did you pay for it?

  • Ill bet it looks nice from a distance, but you get close and bam there's RUST. lol

  • @NomaDairy yeah, its a 20ft car LOL.

  • @moldymac About the same length as our 74 Cadillac Sedan DeVille, LOL

  • i hope u didnt pay tomuch for it...

  • gotta thank salt o n winter roads lol

  • at least it will make a good shed for tractor parts,,

  • I would rather see Tractor Land not Wagon Land.

  • i would like see update on this road master

  • im so glad i live in the south

  • Holy smokes, that much rust on a '90s car? Sucks! Looks fine from a distance, lol.

  • ah the good old rust belt it kills everything. Alot of good useable parts otherwise though

  • Do a frame swap! ya right

  • Not bad, to bad about the rust!

  • And WOW that rust is bad. This is why I am so glad to live in Washington. The weather is far to mild here to get any rust. Our 1986 Econoline is the rustiest truck I’ve ever seen, and thats only because it spends so much time at the coast.

  • how much is "real cheap"????

  • 2 nd

  • I parked next to a Roadmaster Wagon just today in the supermarket parking lot. I kind of want one, all the extra space would be awesome. Plus that LT1 engine is awesome.
