This is my car, but with dark grey interior and T roof. I fucking love it! A mechanic screwed it up and I need a new engine. :( A Jasper remanufacture is out of my price range. Anyone have any advice on a used engine?

@speacialperson12345 They come with 1 of 2 transmissions the 4L60-E which is a 4 speed overdrive auto or a Borg Warner T56 6 speed.

I think I used to own that car, sold it and bought a 98 LS1. The old LT1's sound better because they have a different firing order. /was the car in the Detroit area?

there is nothing wrong with owning an outomatic, you can get a shift ket and gears the there is no difference than a manual tans. i dont know anybody who can shift a trans faster than an auto , do you? i drive a manual and enjoy it but there is nothing wrong with an auto
