Thanks for sharing this vid, I was thinking about getting one of these maplin kits.
I gotta say though, for the same amount of cash you can buy two 'voice changer megaphones' which have exactly the same sound. Of course the IC is locked away inside a dreaded Black Blog, and all the components are those annoying ultra-miniature types. Circuit bending these ultra-miniature boards is a nightmare.........on reflection it's probably worth paying the extra so that you don't have the hassle!
um.. after watching the video again it looks like I had to dub on new audio because whatever I recorded into the camera on the first pass wasn't usable, so I just sped up the video and dubbed on the sound of stepping through the different functions at high speed.
Yeah, it doesn't come through too well in the video, and I think it is a touch out of sync. I was stepping through the different levels of pitch shift and "robot voice" while the drum loop played through it. The little module was the only thing processing the sound.
could you tell me the name of the chip that is used for processing ? thanx

@MrWopz not really sure... the project is in a box somewhere right now, but if you look on Maplin's website maybe it will say.
