  • Hey, does anybody know what kind of music that is? I don't think it's opera... And, any other songs alike :))??

  • OOOHHH!! I forgot!! Thank you mr. Howard Shore for this beautiful music, and thanks to everyone who participated at L.o.t.R. for beeing such a perfect music!!! Sometimes I am proud to be human... :D

  • anyone has the lyrics??? xD I know it's in "elvish" but are there any lyrics?? does anybody know??

  • @Tharladyn the lyrics are from the song Aniron by Enya

here are they also:O môr henion i dhu:

    Ely siriar, el síla

    Ai! Aníron Undómiel

    Tiro! El eria e mor.

I 'lir en el luitha 'uren.

    Ai! Aniron...

  • Just wow!

I've never seen such a beautiful love scene in a movie. The Lord of the Rings was an epic movie! This was an experience that i never will forget. The best movie saga beside Star Wars.

  • Lord of the Rings music is too beautiful for words to describe.

  • This music is so beautiful.

  • The first part is called Aniron sung by Enya. It's an Elvish song written for Aragorn & Arwen.

  • Play this while looking over the landscape of Skyrim.

Dragon comes and ready for battle then play "The End of All Things"

  • НАЧИ НЕВЕРА !!!!

  • one does not simply dislike this video...

  • i know this isnt the right song but it still makes me think of it:

"I give you the light of Eärendil, our most beloved star. May it be a light for you in dark places, when all other lights go out."

  • O môr henion i dhu: Ely siriar, el síla Ai! Aníron Undómiel Tiro! El eria e mor. I 'lir en el luitha 'uren. Ai! Aniron... Translation: From darkness I understand the night: dreams flow, a star shines Ah! I desire Evenstar Look! A star rises out of the darkness The song of the star enchants my heart Ah! I desire...
  • Whenever I listen this song, I find myself in Lotlorien as an observer, watching Aragorn walking under the golden and white trees of lorien. He is reading the story of beren and luthien. Then he sees Arwen in her silver - blue dress. Aragorn unable to resist her beauty calls her Tuniviel, thinking that he sees Luthien.

  • @HermionesMusic

if you wanna act like you know everything about lord of the rings...i can do that too.

    it's Tinúviel, not Tuniviel ;)

  • @arynzer Oh thanks for correcting this, I must have written this wrong by mistake. By the way I do not act like I know everything about LOTR, I am just crazy about it and I wrote what I picture in my mind when I listen this song. I do not know why I am accused of being know it all: )

  • @HermionesMusic

whatever i get accused of being like this sometimes aswell...i think it goes together with a bit of fanaticism for certain topic ;)

  • @arynzerr :) yeah you are right , but this does not give people right to treat each other like that. So I like Lotr, in fact Tolkien's works, and this kind of books/movies . It is just fun and we should not ruin the fun:)

  • one does not simply dislike this video

  • Is she singing in Elvish?

  • Фильм шедевр и саундтреки тоже!

  • I choose a mortal life....

  • magnifique ...

  • From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadow shall spring, renewed shall be blade that was broken and the krownless again shall be king

  • "This is a Dream"

"Then it is a good Dream"

  • you have my sword, and my bow, and my axe.

  • "This is a dream"

"Then it is a very good dream"

  • The best part starts at 2:29 it takes you away!

Just close your eyes and enjoy the music!!

  • 2:14 Frodo decides he will take the ring and the fellowship is formed

  • When my dad said we were going to the movies to see Lord of the Rings I thought it was about boxers... But then I couldn't believe my eyes! This movie blew my socks off and I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Especially when I seen Legolas. The movies were great and the elf was just a bonus.

  • would someone plz post the elvish lyrics that go with this?

  • @andrea82888 Aniron:

    O môr henion i dhu:

    Ely siriar, êl síla

    Ai! Aníron Undómiel

    Tiro! El eria e môr

I 'lir en êl luitha 'uren

    Ai! Aníron...

  • @TheDamrok From darkness I understand the night:

    dreams flow, a star shines

    Ah! I desire Evenstar

Look! A star rises out of the darkness

The song of the star enchants my heart

    Ah! I desire...

  • amazing

  • Thank you J.R.R. Tolkien for this awesome story

Thank you Peter Jackson for those for those epic pictures

Thank you Howard Shore for this amazing soundtrack

All in all the biggest masterpiece in entertainment ever, imo

  • Wonderful Music

  • "You shall be the Fellowship of the Ring"

    (epic music)

    pause..."Right. Where are we going?"

  • When I come upon such amazing works of art, I feel proud to be human.

  • I can still see the whole scene, even aftre two very sad years of not watching it <3 Love this soundtrack!

  • the music in this trilogy just too damn fantastic. I'm supposed to be working on a project, but instead I'm sitting here listening.

  • This is magnificent. Makes me rethink my whole life in minutes and lights a little light in my body. I feel better in seconds. Its beautiful.

  • Pippin: And you need some people of knowledge on this voyage...journey...thing.

Elrond: Nine of you...You shall be the fellowship of the ring!

Pippin: Great! So...where are we goin' ?

  • 2:28

  • "Anyway, you need people of intelligence on the sort of mission, quest, thing"

"Well that rules you out Pip"

  • This is the most beautiful song I ever heard, EVER.

And I confess that every time I listen this, I start crying, not because I'm sad, no, because this is so flawless, beautiful and perfect that inspires all my feelings and emotions.

  • It is a gift, I say; a gift to the foes of Mordor. It is mad not to use it, to use the power of the Enemy against him. The fearless, the ruthless, these alone will achieve victory. What could not a warrior do in this hour, a great leader? What could not Aragorn do? Or if he refuses, why not Boromir? The Ring would give me power of Command. How I would drive the hosts of Mordor, and all men would flock to my banner! - Boromir

  • If aliens were to visit us and hear us sing this song, they would think we were gods.

  • @Avean

Considering all our religious stories are about them when they visited. I doubt it, more like they would see it as our way of appreciating them.

  • "Great! Where are we going?"

  • I wish i was their so i could've been included in the fellowship

  • The people who dislike this video do not dislike it because of its beauty, they dislike it due to the evil in their hearts, the jealousy over not controlling such an unimaginable musical form. For this music is like the winds that blow over the mountains.

  • @ultraviolent29 I believe at least 4 out of 5 were just missclicks...

  • 1:29 the peaceful and most soothing part to relax with :)

  • Sindarin Gwannad- To die. First person: Gwannon I die, Second person: Gwannach You die. But there isn't a third person, so Gwanna would be used and you'd have to use it in context. Then there are the plurals. First person Gwannam We die, Gwannach You (all) die. Again the context for plural second person matters. And Gwannar They die. Then there's the reverential 2nd person which is Gwannal. Plural and Singular. It's used to talk to someone of importance, like a king, lord or of the Valar

  • I saw this movie at Ravinia with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Choir playing the soundtrack along with the movie and hearing this live was AMAZING.

  • chcialbym byc elfem

  • 2:28 best part :)

  • Happy New Year everyone!

Listening to this, it makes me feel strong and renewed. If you read this comment on 1/1/12, have a blessed New Year and may the Evenstar light your way <3

  • O môr henion i dhu: Ely siriar, êl síla Ai! Aníron Undómiel From darkness I understand the night: dreams flow, a star shines Ah! I desire Evenstar Tiro! • @SuperDarren1990 Very good form! Sindarin I think is more beautiful than Quenya, yet Quenya is beautiful as well!

  • @elffanatic2000 Yes, they are both truly wonderful languages. I wanna learn them both soo badly :)

  • @SuperDarren1990 Indeed. They are actually very easy to learn, I learned a bit of Sindarin with it, yet I'm relearning it again. It's really not that hard. Although Sindarin is easier to me than Quenya is, but I know a bit of Quenya as well.

  • @elffanatic2000 How did you get your hands on the material? How long did you take, and like, what words did you learn? :)

  • @SuperDarren1990 Some friends of mine are elvish linguists, especially David Salo, Helge Fauskanger, and Thorsten Renk, who have access to the papers, and I am a personal friend of Mr. Fauskanger on Facebook. They have given me some help on it, and they are on a yahoo group that also helps people learning Sindarin and Quenya with explanations and examples of the languages based on Tolkien's own writings.

  • @elffanatic2000 Omg! You are friends on Facebook with David Salo? I have seen him on the Lord of the Rings documentaries and on the appendixes. That is really quite amazing to me. You are very fortunate pal :)

  • @SuperDarren1990 Mr. Fauskanger, not Mr. Salo, although on a yahoo group I'm on he does contribute a lot to. So from the yahoo group I know Mr. Salo, and he is a wonderful man, and has taught me much of Sindarin, and the original Noldorin from which Sindarin has evolved from.

  • @elffanatic2000 Oh jeeebers... that is so cool. I wonder, would you mind if I asked that you send me a message with a copy of a few words and maybe some pronunciations? :)

  • @SuperDarren1990 Of course. If you want, I can teach you a little bit of it myself.

  • @elffanatic2000 Of course, I would love that :) how/ when can we get started?

  • @SuperDarren1990 Any way you want. We can exchange messages on here, we can IM each other somehow. Anything that works for you.

  • @elffanatic2000 You know what? You can message me via personal messages and we can get started. So.. I'll wait for a message from ya... I don't think that we should fill up all the comment space here with it ;).. unless the folks don't mind, lol.

  • @SuperDarren1990 I think you'd better go private with this but not because I think it's a waste of comment space, rather because it's taking all my effort NOT to beg for Elvish classes with you and instead finish the essay that's due in about 5 hours.

  • @WildcatChris I understand, and it sounds like a perfect plan... and I'll check my inbox now, I think I have mail ;-)

  • @WildcatChris Beg? Why beg? Even if your essay is already due, I can teach you a bit of Elvish if you'd like, just inbox me.

  • @elffanatic2000 I think it's wonderful that you've had the chance to know and to learn from Mr. Fauskanger, Mr. Salo, and Mr. Renk. If it's not inconvenient for you, I would greatly like to learn what you could teach about the Elvish languages too!

  • @IsleofBalar It's a pleasure! It's not a problem, if you would like to learn, just inbox me with the language of choice you'd like to learn and, as with SuperDarren1990 I can make up lessons that can accommodate you to your learning style

  • Enya <3

  • Elrond: So you shall be the Fellowship of the Ring

Pippin: Great... Where are we going?

  • @underDful Wow... thank you!

  • "I will do it. I will bring the ring to Mordor"

  • "One does not simply walk into Mordor."

  • is this the one sung by Enya...and is also the Theme for Aragorn and Arwen?

  • @chinghxd yes

  • WHY would ANYONE DISlike this???? if you don't like it's fine (not for me), but WHY DISLIKE THIS??? what's wrong with people??????

  • Is she singing in Elvish?

  • @darkfaerie145 O môr henion i dhu: Ely siriar, el síla Ai! Aníron Undómiel Tiro! El eria e mor. I 'lir en el luitha 'uren. Ai! Aniron... and the translation would be: From darkness I understand the night: dreams flow, a star shines Ah! I desire Evenstar Look! A star rises out of the darkness The song of the star enchants my heart Ah! I desire...
  • AND MY AXE!

  • 4 people missed the council meeting!

  • You need people of intelligence on this sorta, mission, quest.

Well that rules you out, Pippin.

  • Sauron and 3 orcs disliked this.

  • Look at the dislike bar, now look at the like bar, now back at the dislike bar, now back at this comment. That dislike bar is how modern music on the radio compares to works of art like this.

  • 4 HATERS!!! how could you hate this? love this<3

  • This is the perfect music. I can't understand what she is singing, but it feels soo...magical. Her voice touches me in a way most music will never be able to. That is what I call more than just music. This is a masterpiece of the highest level.

  • This voice is not of this world

  • music is such a beautiful blessing that we all take for granted.

  • This reached me on a limitless level when I first heard each astounding track as I first watched the movies as a child. It's gotten better with each time as nostalgia created a more gorgeous underlying sound to it as I have now new and continuing memories to associate with each note and cord every year passing. This will always be my unequivocal favourite trilogy, book series, and soundtrack playlist. Dying for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. 12/14/12 <3

  • how someone could dislike this or wait,IT IS SARUMAN A WIZARD YOU COULD HAVE KNOW BETTER!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember listening to this on repeat literally for hours on end as a kid... Rediscovering it now, and I'm doing the same.

  • Very well done by Howard Shore, some of the greatest tracks and scores put together in film history. kudos to him, I am damn envious and in awe.

  • Wait ... this song is perfect.

  • (Theme for Aragorn and Arwen) Composed and performed by Enya Lyrics by Roma Ryan O môr henion i dhu: Ely siriar, el síla Ai! Aníron Undómiel Tiro! El eria e mor. I 'lir en el luitha 'uren. Ai! I desire..
  • Mr. Anderson!

  • @djslurch Well, actually it's Mr. Smith but that works too. ;)

  • The most beautiful song to ever exist. EVER.

  • I can't describe the overwhelming-ness of listening to this song while reliving the movies; WHILE commenting here with people who feel the same way ;)

  • is Gandalf in The Hobbit?

  • @carmenoscarcarmen

Gandalf is most definitely in the Hobbit, and Sir Ian McKellen is coming back to play the part.

  • @ColonelSaby fuck ya! xD

  • @carmenoscarcarmen Yes, Elrond is too.

  • @carmenoscarcarmen Yes.If you plan to see the movie, read the books too :D They are really good.

  • Gimli isn't in The Hobbit, is he? >.>

BUT I LOVE HIM SO FREAKING MUCH T____T

  • @PindaLollie - no, Gimgli is not a Hobbit.

  • @jaraha But he's a dwarf, and there are dwarfs in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey... So I was hoping he was in it.

  • @PindaLollie - oooh nm. That's what I get for YouTubing late at night. I thought you asked if Gimli was a hobbit.... my mistake :)

  • Same people commenting on all of dogsrule3444's videos.

We are the army of the Shire!

  • I dunno, Gimli. Maybe we should follow Boromir's idea and catapult it into the Eye.

And YEAH LEGOLAS, STANDING UP FOR ARAGORN! Gosh. No one ever bothers to notice that he's heir to the throne of Gondor these days!

  • Excellent! But where are we going? Gotta love pippin

  • @Supermariofan14 that's a great line yes. :)

  • @Supermariofan14 You know that line wouldn't sucked without the Scottish Accent.

Top marks to Peter Jackson for the casting :P

  • 0:36 o yeah

Everything else I do.....is a bonus.

  • @AmateurVisions I hope everything you have said actually happens to you... of course, not now, you still have a life to live.
