  • thanks for the tutorial <3

  • I've always loved hijabs, but I I couldn't figure out how to wear it. I'm Christian, not Muslim, and I felt a little awkward asking how to fold it being that for me it held no religous significance. Thanks. Great video. Easy to follow.

  • I love this style... you mentioned you went to a fabric store and had them trim it to a certain size. What are the dimensions you gave them?

Also, I'm really NOT big on sewing, and am not knowledgeable AT ALL about sewing, but how did you seam the edges to avoid fraying?

  • i think the Hijab is soooooooo pretty!

  • That was amazingly good x i really an smart in werin a hijab now XD -_- -3

  • @ckeel09 I'm pretty sure you'd have to dress modestly. I'd consider wearing hijab while you are over there since it is respectful. And about the abaya. I'd buy one and bring it with you. You may need all the stuff on when you land in Saudi. I'm not sure though as I've never been there. Also, Saudi arabia usually doesn't let tourists go there if they aren't Muslim. So, I'm not sure how you managed. Be safe in your travels! Allah is with you.

Regarding this video: I really like this style. I ha

  • where are u from? also you are very pretty!

  • Thanks for this vid, ukhti. I pretty much gave up on square hijabs because I always felt frumpy or like an old lady in them, but this style makes me want to pull them out of my closet again. Thank you!!

  • LOL beautiful scarf style! but i wish i had enough pins to actually do it :p

  • i love this it is so beautiful..i am muslim but i dont wear hijab but i am going to start to :)

    KEEP POSTING MORE :D

  • Thank you for this tutorial! Love this style, especially since I have so many square scarves lying around.

  • LOVE IT ! Anyway, can you make a tutorial on your make-up that u're wearing in this video. It's sooo nice!:DD

  • i love love this style so very much. i work part time and i wear this style to work everytime and many of my colleagues and customers compliment on the way i have it on. thanks so very much for this !

  • Love the Video. :D

  • wear do you purchase your scarves from?

  • What a beautiful scarf! :)

  • hahaha. that was really funny to watch, you're great to listen to. i have a question, i'm a canadian girl (not muslim) and i'm going to saudi arabia this summer, many of the saudi girls that i have talked to have told me i should wear a hijab while i am there, should i wear it even if i'm not muslim?

  • @ckeel09 aww thanks sweetie :) I'm glad you liked the video. I've never actually been to saudi arabia so I can't tell u for certain if u need to wear hijab while over there but I don't think pyou have to wear it. It is a good idea to dress modestly though like loose pant and loose tunic shirts. However if u are going to be visiting any mosques then you will need to cover your hair with a scarf.

  • @WhatStartsWithA thank you so much! where could i find clothes like that? i mean like middle eastern fashion, i think maybe most things i could find in canada wouldn't be similar to what they wear. i will stand out though, i'm very white and have short hair that is green and purple!! hahaha. maybe i will get less looks with a hijab :P shukran!

  • Comment removed

  • @ckeel09 yes i think u should cover ur hair because i went there and i am a muslim i covered my hair but people there told me that i should cover my face so to avoid this i think u should at least cover ur hair :) hope that helps :)

  • @ckeel09 well i lIve in ksa :) ITS actuaLly up TO yOu. BuH cops N THE OTHER RELIGIOUS ppL Do poiNt Us iF We ArE WiDoUt hIjAab :) ! . N ABAYA IS must iN ksa ! n the ppl doesn't give a damn wht r u wearin inside . unless n until u r wid abaya !

  • @ckeel09 yeah, you should wear it. I think they have like a hijab police there to make sure everybody is covered to saudi standards. i wear hijab and i think that the saudis are just stupid. theres so much worse things going on there, and yet they care so much about something so secondary as hijab. There was an incident where a girls' school caught fire and the police beat the girls back into the fire because they were running out without hijab. so wear hijab so u wont get hit with sticks.

  • @ckeel09 yea u should wear it because they are very strict over there even if u dont wear it all the way atleast cover ur hair because its a muslim country the law is very strict

  • @ckeel09

if u go there u must wear it even if your not muslim.and why are u going there anyway?

  • @ckeel09

if u go there u must wear it even if your not muslim.and why are u going there anyway?

  • @aboodysui i'm studying arabic in school and i want to go to the middle east to complete my studies

  • @ckeel09 ya i think u shud

  • thats beautiful

  • not only american or european women are beautiful! respect for everyone! thank you for this video :)

  • lovely scarf border. nice style :)

  • love it!

  • you are sooo beautiful!;)

  • whats your ethnecity? :)

    great video!

  • woow i dont wear a hijab but it looks really beautiful

i respect all of you that have to go trough all of this of putting it on every day

it seems like a hassle but trust me it looks amazing :)

  • One last note to any brothers that read this. While Muslim women must cover all men SHOULD cover. Especially in the West and especially in the US with all brouhaha going on with the Tea Party White power Islamaphobic movement. The sisters who are on the deen can't and don't hide that they are Muslim so why should we, so called men, not wear our Islam on our heads as well. Too many sisters get harassed so I say give the kuffar us men to harass.

  • Assalaamu aliykum wa ramatullahi wa barakatu,

Ramadan mubarak. Alhamdulilah sister it is good to see a good sister teaching sisters how to properly wear the hijab. May Allah Mighty and Majestic reward you for this. Not to be a jerk, and I hope you don't think I'm trying to be one, but you should have your forearms covered. You can correct me if I'm wrong but isn't covering all the awra meant to be part of the hijab?

    Wa salaam.

  • I think I m in love;)!!!

    btw,your hijab is really nice.;)

  • I think I m in love;)!!!

  • Salam. Wow thanks for that. It looks gorgeous.

  • Thannkkkssssssss for the idea! i love it!! i have been looking for a substitute vooor mij aunty style hihihi. and no im not an aunty!:) But ya i was sick of the basic styles.. so now im gonna soooo try this one!!! Thanks for posting it dear!

  • @resnemee lol opps sorry :S I feel bad for calling it an "aunty" style in the video. that style suits a lot of people but it always made my face look extra round. I'm glad this video gave you some new ideas. let me know if you try this style out and how you like it

  • @WhatStartsWithA

Hihi well then lets just call it the basic hijab styles:P:) But i get ur point,

i started wearing hijab 4 years ago, and there is basicly noone arround

me who wears it in my family of friends, so i learned from inet. The styles

basic once suited me but i always looked older then i am. WHICH SUCKS!!

So after 4 years i was looking for something new to do with my square

hijabs... And i found you!:) alhumdulliah! i will try it out and will surely let u know!

  • @resnemee lol yes its the "basic" hijab style. i'm soooo glad i've been able to help with your hijab styles. no one in my family wears hijab either so I've had to learn from different blogs and youtube. I'm glad more and more hijabis are starting to make videos to show sisters out there that there i more than a few ways to wrap a scarf :)

  • @WhatStartsWithA I tried it out over the weekend, when i finally had time. It looked very nice, i need to get it perfect still but i liked the outcome! Mashallah i made some pics too just to remember how i looked the first time ahhaha

  • I adore it sis! Thanks I have been having trouble with styles for the square scarf this really helps! And I HEART youre hijab on you! with the blue and gold hijab youre beautiful mashAllah (not that you arent already coz u r) but u remind me so much of my fav disney JASMINE!

  • @BeautyIridescent awww thanks :) i'm glad this helps because I know how frustrating square hijabs can be

  • lol oops i accidently commented the same thing twice cauZ i thought it didnt get posted.
