@MirandaAugust64 if you are asking seriously. ahort answer is - not likely, the schools were segregated and is wasn't against the law not to send your kids too school. often if the father died or became ill, or a family had a farm or business = the kids were often not allowed to go to school. if you don't work = you can't eat. it was before many child labor laws... that is my best guess :)
