Their are some contradictions in this video/slides. On one hand we are asked to keep our skin dry and on the other we are to make sure to prevent dry skin. Also the fact that we are asked to "optimize (our) high blood sugar levels" can be confusing.
Yes, you’re right, some explanations seem to be confusing. I'd like to thank you for your suggestions. Diabetics have problems with "high blood sugar levels", that is why is important to stabilize (optimize) them back to normal (or near normal). The function of skin is altered (mainly towards too dry or too moisture), especially when exposed to certain factors like low temperature& in fold areas of body.
