Liason has nothing on JaSam. JaSam is the BEST! Liz wanted Jason to give up his life for her and tried to excuse it by saying it was to dangerous for her kids, when in reality, it wasnt as bad as she made it seem. Sam allows Jason to be himself, and if they had kids he would still be able to be himself because she never tries to change him. which is all liz ever did, try and make him someone he isnt and will never be!
There is no Liason. The conversation on that couch sums up why Jason could never be himself with Liz...she wanted the impossible to happen which was for Jason to give up his entire life to please her needs. Jason can be who he is around Sam & not have to make excuses for doing so. He can be himself & she gets him. Liz never got that part of Jason's life, she was willing to screw him, but didn't get him as a whole. LIASON IS OVER& they should be, Sam & Jason makes sense. They share it all.
Trying to get through to a Liason fan is like clawing at a brick wall. They will never understand that in order for Liz and Jason to be together, Jason's personality would have to do a complete 180 and most his fans probably wouldn't like that sudden shift in gears. Jason would never allow Liz to be able to hear any of the bad stuff that goes on, Like he does with Sam, especially if it involves him killing someone.
Sam will always be "the one" for Jason hands down.

Urgh. This is exactly what I was afraid of when JaSam reunited. Sam losing her independence and becoming Jason's cheerleader. Unless she and Spinelli hired a subcontractor to do security for her firm at the art show, she completely abandoned job to sit on Jason's couch and comfort him about his killing. I have to give it to the writers. They reeled me in in the beginning, with Jason's visits to Sam apartment etc now is back to same stuff as before Jason's needs and Sam with no life.
You don't get the JaSam connection at all if you think that. Jason needs Sam this time around & she is not the needy one. The writers have made Sam the strong & independent one in this relationship. It is Jason who needs her around to help him as opposed to Sam needing him all the time. Sam is strong & independent & I like that Jason needs her & relies on her help...that is what being in a relationship is about. Jason knows that Sam is the only one he can really count on. JASAM=LOVE
That's what they finally need...the ILY's. Before anything else, those 3 huge words should be spoken. Let's hope they declare their love for each other soon.

But more than that we know for a fact that Jason has not been completely candid with any other woman in his life, including Carly. And then when he said she was the ONLY one he could talk to ... a man that doesn't like to talk ... my heart just melted. And I loved Sam's speech about her faith in Jason.
I could not be happier than if we got actually ILY's.
