it really annoys me that noone wants them to go mainstream. i think that as long as they dont change their style of music, it would be great for them, they are one of the best bands out there, and if anyone deserves it it's them. if their stuff's on a soundtrack, then they'll reach a wider audience. i dont see why that's a bad thing, if people end up finding and enjoying brand new through the soundtrack, it doesnt mean they're not true fans.

i listen to very very little music of this genre, but Brand New's Deja Entendu transcends the ordinary limits the emo-rock, post harcore genre puts on most bands and creates true art. This may be my favorite song on the album next to me vs. maradona vs. elvis. great work

such a great song. 1 minute and 42 seconds of Brand New is better than an hour long CD by nearly every other band.

The thing I love about Brand New is how much passion and emotion they have when playing, especially Jesse lacey. Other bands whine about losing girls, but most of that's all bullshit. Jesse can make you tell that he's a real guy, not some sellout whiny boy.
