@cukamango - If you're talking about early grabs you should be fine. The Nemi is pretty tough. The only way I see it cracking or delaming is if you fall and it runs into a curb really hard (and repeatedly). Bombsquad make metal nose guards that work perfectly for the Nemi.
@cukamango you constantly see people hitting kickers and catching 4 plus ft of air on their nemi's and even grabbing off 5 stairs and such... but the second i kand a tiny early grab off a curb, bith its drops snapped like a twig, and I only weigh 165.
I say go for whatever you want man, rayne has an excelent warranty service and will take care of you if your deck breaks within its warranty coverage period.
as for me though, i don't early grab with my new nemi...
well you said that it'll take a lot of effort to pump on flats, and are you sure that trucks don't make a difference? I'm not trying to undermine you or anything I'm just wondering myself. I ordered a nemesis, paris 180s, khiro bitch soft bushings and some red swiss bearings, I thought that it would maximize my ability to pump on flats.

@Art1337 - Any board can be pumped due to the laws of physics...However, a top mount deck with just about any truck is INFINITELY easier to pump than a dropped deck. Pumping can be done, and I do it on my Nemi on hills after I do a slide to get some speed up again without touching the ground. However, due to the position of the platform compared to the pivot axis of the trucks it is far from optimal. I've had Indys and Randals on it. Paris isn't really any different than 50* RIIs...
The Nemesis is an awesome freeriding board(it's what I use it for). You can pump just about any board really but some are obviously better than other. I can pump this some while going down a hill to get a bit of speed before I bank up a drive way, or after a stand-up slide. Pumping on flats though would take A LOT of effort.
cool, i was there today and it was super cold... i saw your video before and thought it was a differant hill but it ended up being the same hill i always ride... You ever try to start an event on the fish?
Nah. the hill isn't really fast enough for a serious race event and I doubt the development would like having a crap-ton of skaters there. I'm most likely skating the hill around 12:00 Sunday. Supposed to warm up a bit this weekend. I'll shoot you the address tomorrow when I get a chance to make sure we're at the same place.
cool dude, ill probably be there a little later, like 3ish for a number of reasons, but ill see what i can do..there are not any many spots in sewell... but ive found a few for differant disciplines.. couple good sliding spots, one good drifting spot, and the ones in surrey lake are decent for DH, and i gotta tighten my 180's, i havent bombed that hill since i got my khiros..
when youre tucking and the camera's in front of you, hold the boom lower so you you can see your face

Hoj long is your pole? From the camera to the handle? I don't care about the extra at the end

It's just an ice scrapper with the scrapper/brush head taken off. It's about 2.5-3 feet long.

if youre pumping on a flat and it takes effort, couldnt you just switch to paris trucks?
Art1337 1 year ago
It's not the trucks it's the deck itself. Due to its 1" drop it's just a good pumping board.
PartNinja 1 year ago
how do you think the board is for freeriding?
also, would you think it would be at all possible to pump it?

hows the board for dh?
grizzly1758 2 years ago
Well, Rayne designed it for DH. People race on it and I have taken it to 40mph with ease.
