@zaloo Sometimes the product being shredded bridges over the cutters. This normally isn't a problem with continuous shredding, because more material pushes down from above, but a long piece can skate around for a while. This does not make for good YouTube material. SSI actually makes one with a ram assist for industries that shred materials that bridge a lot. A ram assist pushes the material down into the cutters. Very useful, but more expensive.

As a pianist, this is very difficult to watch. Heres a tip, if you don't want your piano, I'm sure there are people that do. And If it's to broken to fix up, you can always make it into a cabinet, or at the very least, make some smores :P
