  • "The key to eternal youth" She's not a fucking experiment, and if the parents are smart, they won't WILL NOT let her be.

  • Never mind why she's what she is. It just makes her unique.

  • On wikipedia it says that her telomeres are shortening at the normal rate, which means that she's still aging, she's just not developing. They may be able to learn things about development, and genetics by studying her, but I don't know why they're talking as if she could hold the answers to aging when her telomeres are still degrading at a normal rate.

  • I turned 16 on October 27th 2010 and i m 17 now

  • rich parents before the they tell about her

  • You can't imagine how much this fascinates me. Cases like this are why I wish I had became a doctor or biologist.

  • Even though Brook does not appear to age at all, I wonder what her life expectancy will be. She is 16 years old and looks like 16 months. She looks about one tenths of her age. Lets say she does keep up this speed of aging and her life expectancy is 10 times that of a normal human being. She will live to be around 900 or older, which is what people used to age back in Noah's time before the flood 4,000 years ago....for those who believe what the Bible says, I know not everyone believes that.

  • @angelmom3950 Good thought; if babies can learn, perhaps she can too.

  • Well, those scientists are wrong. Maria Audenete of Brazil was born 5 July 1981. She looks more like a baby than Brooke does. There are videos of Maria on here on youtube.

  • @rebornsbymargaret Brooke and Maria have two different conditions. Brooke's is chromosomal, and Maria's is endocrinological and possibly even congenital.

  • @MeetDarlingNikki Thanks for the info. Do you know if there are other people with the same endocrine deficiency as Maria? Is there a video with English subtitles for Maria?

  • @angelmom3950 Yes. I thinl Brooke could communicate with one. The girl I'm talking about can't even go to school but for 45 minute sessions she has seizures also, and Brooke is lucky, she goes to school in her stroller. But I just know she gets angry when her family puts her in that baby swing. They say she loves the swing but I see her looking very angry in the swing. It's like she's saying in her haed "Come ON Mom and Dad! I'm a teenager"

  • @angelmom3950 I don't know if she could learn it? I know a woman who is in the home health care, She helps a family with a fifteen-year old with Retts Syndrome, a neuromuscular illness. The girl can hardly walk and cannot talk, or feed herself or go to the bathroom. Her parents have a computer that she is training on to communicate with them. It has things on it she can look at that's says "I need to go to the toilet" and "I'm hungry" Maybe Brooke's parents can get her one.

  • @LockedInsideOfMe

You spelled her name wrong on the itle of the video. it's Greenberg.

  • They need to teach her sign language. I know she can understand what they say about her.

  • she is so adorable

  • That is sad

  • Thatsvs

  • She just had a birthday yesterday. She is 17 now. :)

  • @sonyab1974 Oh wow really? :O

  • @LockedInsideOfMe Yes really! :) Unless you are joking with me. :) She is gonna be 18 in 3 months! YAY! :)

  • @sonyab1974

Nah I find that awesome xD Yay!

  • @LockedInsideOfMe :) I wonder what she looks like now. Does she look older? Is she still small? Has she grown a bit? I wonder if there is going to be an update.

  • she might get married, she might just be aging extremly slowly. maybe in 50 years she will be like an average 10 year old...then in another 50 years she will be about 13 or so....who knows...

  • @hannaht13 I have no idea o.o

  • @hannaht13 From a romantic sci-fi fan's point of view, the actual realisation that we have someone who was born in the last millennium and will potentially be able to live for hundreds of years until and possibly beyond the age of space colonisation and the realisation of so many current sci-fi fantasies, experiencing hundreds of years of history through a single set of eyes elevates my heart immensely.

Although it does make me question whether I'm living in someone else's quantum reality.

  • @hannaht13 well, shes not going to live to be 116 years old...

  • @hannaht13 she's ageing but she hasnt developed
