  • was Red the same demon that was in Charlie's nightmare from the first movie? or was that a different demon

  • @Blondiechickie1972 No, no, see, that devil cat was actually SCARY. Like he actually wanted to shred and devour your soul, not just sing about how nice it is to be a jerk.

  • He is like a devil to all dogs :D

  • Anyone else get a Discord vibe from Red?

  • @ChickenMiasma

    Holy shit, you're right!

    oO

  • For the longest time, that's what I thought Satan looked like.

  • If all dogs go to Heaven, then all cats go to Hell, I guess.

  • @Sh4d0wKat Well, you have to remember: this is basically from the point of view of dogs. If the cats had been in charge of making the movies, they might have been called "No Dogs Go To Heaven"

  • @mcmptn Hahahahahaha! Too true.

  • @Sh4d0wKat And then you have to wonder where wolves, coyotes, jackals, etc. and leopards, lions, cheetahs, etc. go, whether or not they fall into the "dogs" and "cats" categories or are given their own categories. I guess all cartoon characters go to Heaven unless they do something REALLY bad. hahaha (Fine with me. That way kids of all religions can enjoy these shows without any one religion dominating it. Good=happy afterlife. Bad=unhappy afterlife. Fill in the details yourself.) :p

  • @mcmptn Hmm... a couple of lion-angels were seen lounging on a cloud bank in the first movie, but maybe they were vegetarian.

  • @Sh4d0wKat I think they're supposed to represent peace. You know, the whole idea of the lion and the lamb together.

  • I remember the days i was completely terrified of this guy!!!!

  • Now THERE'S one kitty I don't wanna cuddle. ._.

  • It does feel good to be bad.

  • I think it's very ironic that Red (George Hearn) plays the role of an evil barber!

  • @cloboclimpinwats Hmm, voice of this character is much better in Polish dubbing version.

  • OMG BAD KITTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Red is sexy!! xD haha! (in his true form, of course.... xD

  • A perfect example of a voice actor carrying a scene, 90% of the appeal of this scene in the harmonious flow of George Hearn's singing voice. Especially considering the static backgrounds, the frequent messed up lip-syncs, the less occasional but still noticeable animation quirks.

Honestly I'm surprised and more then a bit disappointed that I haven't seen more of this guy.

  • I love the Sweeney Todd reference <3

    it makes me so happy

  • @KissedByARedrose This movie came oul LONG before Sweeny Todd, unless it's a reference to the play the movie was based on.

  • You know what I find hilarious?

Carface is voiced by MermaidMan in the sequel and the animated series (as well as the Christmas special).

  • I love this video!! but i love the first movie better :)

  • One of the best songs EVER!!!

  • Lucifer's cat CANS SING!

  • Carface was in Hell in this video!

  • Wow. What a downgrade. Carface went from being the main antagonist to being Red's bitch. lolz

  • @Big2thaTony even the mafia's bosses are just bichts comparated to the Devil.

  • @Big2thaTony I know! Carface was so intimidating in the original, now look at him. He's naked. Working for a hellcat. Being a general jerk instead of a murderous asshole. I mean, It seems like through the whole movie Charlie forgot how his old buddy Carface MURDERED him and tried to ABDUCT THE LITTLE GIRL he was with.

  • Wait...is George Hearn singing this? He's a famous for being Sweeney Todd on Broadway. o___0

Ah-HA! I get the reference to the musical now! XD

  • @DarkDragon1889 Yes that is him.

  • like if you agree that It Feels So Good to Be Bad!

  • Red was so devious that we had forgotten that King Gator, Anne Marie or Killer ever existed; these are completely different stories!

  • Who else sees in their mind Alexander from Amnesia: The Dark Descent singing this? Red and Alexander kinda sound alike, even theyhave diffrent voice actors.

  • The only thing I don't like about this song is how it has some sort of obsession with showing Carface's ass.

Other than that though, it's pretty good.

  • I like George Hearn! :D

  • Comment removed

  • red is a very interesting villain better then carface alone

  • DA-HA!

  • i like the music in this song

  • This number sees very Tim Burton-esqe .I really like it.

  • If if you like this song, then we aren"t angels.

  • Epic!

  • I always wounder how tall red is to john pertwee like john pertwee is the tallest doctor in the doctor who series and I not sure how tall he is to red maybe the same height.

  • I still think of crash bandicoot when I see red >__>

  • OH MY GOSH! 1:03 Sweeney Todd much?!

  • @HopelessRomantic999 Well it is George Hearn singing and he is famous for Sweeney Todd.

  • you're not a villain until you have a song

  • This is one of the best villain songs! It feels so good to watch!

Red looks a little too excited at 1:30 LOL

  • @phl6716 Omg, red is a r@pist then. D:

  • Comment removed

  • Is he supposed to have a Russian accent? If so that Olé at the end didn't quite help xD

  • It's true: the difference between a villain and a supervillain is PRESENTATION!

  • wow some 1 has stick up their ass

  • I love 3:30 SUCKER "P

  • Damn, George Hearn, way to steal the song! -whistles- Nicely done!

  • Say what any of you will about this movie compared to the original, but this song kicks ass!

  • Charlie Sheen was always under Red's power.

  • 12 people become Red's permanent slaves in Hell.

  • I know movie is inferior to the first, but Red is way eviler than Carface was in the first

  • @SandSharkX

yeah i think red is one of the servants of that devil creature seen in charlie's dream in the first one, because at the end of this one charlie says reds boss yanked his leash

  • Sweeney Todd actor in film as Red!

  • A Cat Devil as the villain to a Heaven full of Dogs. I want to know more about this guy. Who's with me?

  • He's in the old movie. And know we all know that charlie sheen called 1800 brimstone for his fame and fortune. He's being manipulated by a hell cat

  • George hearn and Dom deluise are the best actors in this movie. George also performed Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd.

  • Then, there's also Bagheera from "The Junlge Book."

  • Every time I hear this song I just wanna become an asshole. XD

  • Red is gay

  • "Charlie's in my power now."

Shit! Quick, Charlie, fight Satan with your Tiger Blood!

  • then again, that'd be even better, >:]

  • Somehow I thought of Charlie Sheen while listening to this... Maybe because he mentions someone named charlie...

  • @AlbinoFox53 And maybe the fact that Charlie Sheen does the voice of Charlie. No joke.

  • Justin Bieber doesn't know it, but he's in my power!! He's gonna wish that he was never born!! And I promise you by the sunset out, all his obese ugly teen girl fans will mourn!!!

  • @RedTheDevilCat nah, how about Charlie Sheen?

  • @AlbinoFox53 but he plays Charlie Barking, the dog. lol

  • Make that a quadruple combination for Red if you count Prince John from "Robin Hood."

  • Red kinda resembles a triple combination between Shere Khan from "The Jungle Book," Cat from "CatDog," & Mushu from "Mulan," while Carface resembles Hugo from "The Hunchback of Notre Dame."

  • It's da nostalgia bomb!

  • Squee at 1:05

George Hearn was my favourite Sweeney Todd <3

  • this song is very epic

  • lmao

"I'm not saying names but SOMEONES GOT TO PAY "

  • @irishgreen619

That's literally what I was about to say

That's my favorite musical ever and he is my favorite Sweeney Todd along with Angela Lansbury as Mrs. Lovett

I wonder if he's doing anything else these days?

  • The barber scene is a reference to george Hearns when he played sweeney todd on broadway.

  • I find it Funny, that at 1:06, Red has a Barber's Razor in his hand, in reference to George Hearn's Performance as Sweeney Todd!

  • He chocked on a tiny chicken leg that's how Itchy finally died just incase you had'nt known.

  • @TheHershinatior How do you know? Just asking.. because I never knew.

  • It's like Satan singing opera in a play.

  • Okay, one more thing that bugs me. The first was set in 1920s-1930s New Orleans. This is set in Modern Day San Fransisco. This does not affect Carface or Charlie, but what about Itchy? I mean, how old was itchy when he finally died? He would have to be about 60-70 Human Years (which is 420-490 in dog years) old when he died!

    Sorry, I'm a movie nerd.

  • There is only one thing I do not like about this movie. The dramatic character changes from the first to the sequel. Charlie was a con man who didn't care what people thought of him (except when it mattered). Here is is still conny, but kind of sweet about it. Itchy was a nervous somewhat self centered, but lovable, tick. Now he is a very generous kind hearted fellow. And Carface was an evil, manipulative boss. Now he is a suck up hench man.

Apart from that, a great movie.

  • still like the first one better, but this lead to the series which was okay.

  • I'd probably consider this the 3rd best Non-Disney Villain song. Above it in my opinion are...

    2) Playing with the Big Boys from The Prince of Egypt

    1) In the Dark of the Night from Anastasia

  • @SLPIFan I AGREE extremely Toxic Love from Ferngully isn't so bad either

  • @CartoonBabe96

Yeah that one's good as well. To me it is probably fourth.

  • @SLPIFan In the Dark of the Night was one of the best songs ever

  • @SLPIFan I agree. plus those songs are quite chatchy! And it does feels good to be bad.

  • @SLPIFan Be prepared needs to be on that list. At the top.

  • @OriginalBangart

That was my listing for Non-Disney Villain songs. BE PREPARED is definitely one of the top tier Disney Villain Songs. For me personally it is only challenged by HELLFIRE from HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME for the number 1 spot.

  • @SLPIFan Oh I have no idea how I missed the non-disney part. LOL And yeah, definitely Hellfire and Be prepared are at the top. Why can't movies be this good anymore. ._. I guess I'm just glad I grew up with THIS instead of the crap we've got today.

  • @SLPIFan Be Prepared aka The Scar Song...

  • @MetalsPlague they said NON-disney ^^" and Lion King is Disney...

  • SO GOOD TO BE BAD!!

    BAH HA!!!!!

  • ha ha ha i remember that song i still had it on vhs

  • George Hearn ROCKS!

  • God yes...

    Yes, yes it DOES!

  • 9 people don't know how good it feels to be bad.

  • @SLPIFan Ain't it great that 422 of us do

  • @Infamouskarmaful make that 423 ~presses the like button~ =w=

  • @LinaXJester222 (EVIL LAUGH)A-HA HA HAH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

  • @SLPIFan make it 12

  • @firefliesandumbreon NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • @Infamouskarmaful i know, a sad but true fate :(

  • villans always get the best songs. GOTTA LOVE IT

  • LOL. I was watching thundercats when I randomly decided to listen to this... couldn't stop thinking about Mumm-Ra trying to sing the whole time...

  • where can i download the mp3?

  • he he

  • Red's probably a cougar. They used to be known as "devil cats".

  • I love how at 1:00 he tried to step back through the mirror.

  • Trivia! Trivia!

Red is played by George Hearn. George Hearn was one of the many actors who played Sweeney Todd.

Very clever how they had Red- George Hearn- Sweeney Todd shave Carface.

  • Am I the only one who thinks this sounds a bit like "Unfortunate Souls"?

  • Carface: But I'm an angel

Red: Not anymore u work for me now

    Carface: Fuck u 2 then

  • Red has problems, he should go to anger management, 1 & 3 are the best cause red isn't in them if they got rid of Red the 2nd one would be awesome, anything that Carface does isn't good enough for him I would be like suck a dick red and do it urself.

  • Red is an asshole what crawled up his ass?

  • Comment removed

  • I sing this when I get in trouble, lol.

  • What I like is the fact that its a Cat playing the devil

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE. I mean, I know it's different from the first..but there is something about this movie that I love.

  • I probably only watched this movie the limited times I did mainly just for listening to this song. So catchy! What's with villians having the catchiest songs?

  • @Sanriko Ya know what they say: "A hero's a hero, but everyone loves a good villain." Same thing applies here :3

  • 1:52 Lion King, lol

  • 2:18

  • i remember when i first saw this movie, i was scared out of my mind ^^;

  • keep rewinding back to 2:06 repeatedly just as there going up the rollercoaster hillarity ensures

  • besides, from red's appearance, why species of feline do you think he could be?

  • @maniac989 Maybe a panther or something.

  • @AnaShadowWolf A Hellcat, according to Wikipedia

  • red sure doesn't like any ordinary housecat? he looks more like a cat of exaggerated proportions! don't you think?

  • "Imitates Sher Khan" Bravo, bravo, what an extraordinary performance.

  • Red should be singing it feels so good to be queer my god he is a bad villain All dogs go to Heaven 1 & 3 are the best.

  • @WisconsinRebals2010 your crazy man!!

  • It probably wouldn't be a good thing to say that I watched this movie solely for the villain xD. He was a kick-ass hell kitty, and this song was cool.

  • So this is where my recurring nightmare of being pinned to a chair and skeletons attacking me with razors came from...

D: Seconding that this is the only decent song from that movie.

  • Was that a Sweeney Todd reference at the barber chair for George Hearn? =o

  • @Scrapperton i believe it was yes

  • This movie pretty much failed, but damn the villain was a beast.

  • @gagbonkers The bad guy from The Swan Princess movie is Rothbart :)

  • Inspiration from Elton Johns Sad Songs I think.

Cause it feels so good to hurt so bad....

  • this was the only good part of the movie- ill admit this villain is actually note worthy- i wish they done more with him...

  • Comment removed

  • I love this song

  • They just HAD to have the barber shop part...

  • Love how the do Sweeney Todd, and with George Hearn (the voice of Red) doing this, I wouldn't believe that he didn't have say about this scene, or that it wasn't done this way to homage him.

  • "i didn't recruit you for such entry level wickidness" muahahahar

  • this song all ways makes me feel good!!!!!!!!

  • Red is a cool villian...he needs a better movie to be in

  • Wait. Why would the devil need a successor? Isn't he THE DEVIL?!? I don't think getting replaced is high on his list of worries.

  • Indeed 1 and 3 were better and more serious. They tried to make 2 too...shall we say...pathetic. The plot was good but they way they carried it out was terrible compared to the other movies in the series.

  • The 1 & 3 is better

  • ...that's EARNEST BORGNINE? ._.

    That's insane.

Like this whole movie is insane.

    Good song though.

  • Red is an Asshole, Carface is Awesome.

  • carface is an imp:P

  • 1 & 3 are the best and the 2nd sucks.

  • Bull shit the 3rd one was better.

  • @WisconsinRebals2010 I dare you to say that to Don Bluth's face

  • Red is an asshole.

  • @WisconsinRebals2010 Killer comes back in the 3rd one and the 3rd one is like one with all the better characters that is why 1 & 3 are awesome.

  • @WisconsinRebals2010 the third won is even worse than this one

  • A nice sly reference to SWEENEY TODD in this. George Hearn who played Sweeney in the 1982 filmed version voiced Red, and that's probably why they had the barber chair part. Pretty cool. Plus this is a good song.

  • I LOVE RED!!!! and at 1:11 Sweeney Would kill him for doing that to a razor anyone think that?

  • @BabyDachi75 Red IS Sweeney
